  1. Heres my take on things

 What happened to the defeated pirate crew once the curse was lifted? I assume they were hung, but it's not shown.

most likly hung but to keep a PG13 rating it was not shown since there would be no reprive for them

 What happened to the treasure Jack made off with from the cave? One minute he's rowing back to the Dauntless with Will and Liz, draped in gold. Next scene he's on the gallows. Did he give it to Will so he could become a gentleman pirate?

most likly the British goverment got it since the govener was onboard the ship when Jack was arrested

 How did Jack get cursed if he wasn’t with the crew when they took the cursed treasure? They marooned him on the way to the island, right?

already been covered to my satisfaction

 How did Jack come to learn of Isla De Muerta? And if he knew he was cursed, why wouldn't he be magically drawn to the gold just like the Black Pearl crew? Or is that why he showed up in Port Royal in the first place?

some one else showed him first then he got/made the compass that pointed the way there or he was just that good and was navigate in his head only and used the compass as a prop that only he knew how to use

 How could he get drunk on rum if he was cursed? It was made pretty clear that all they could do was sail the sea tracking down the gold....

    this has been covered

 Where are the other inhabitants of the Caribbean? Spanish? French?

    hidding from the Black Pearl

 If they can’t die, and Bootstrap Bill was cursed too, shouldn't he be sitting at the bottom of the sea somewhere chained to a cannonball, bored as hell? Course soon as the curse is lifted, he'd drown I guess....

well he was a pirate and was most likely cursed as well

but he had what 10 to 15 years to drag or break free of the cannonball

My guess is that he'll show up in the sequel maybe missing a hand or foot

 Port Royal is supposed to be "the wickedest city on earth"…where is everyone?

    already covered

 How could Jack sail a brig with just Will who’s all lubber?

    Jack is just that good

look at when we first see him sailing into Port Royal he bails what 3 buckets of water and that is just enough so that he can step off the mainmast as comes to port the first time and not get his feet wet

  2. Hi Pirate munkee

the only group that I know that is doing in northern california

is the Guild of St.Dymphna the Seadogs, but they just started the Heaert of the forest faire in Novato,so joining up right now might be a bit hard unless you know all our songs(our way)

I believe Steve was looking for a few new crew to tryout but that was before the faire started

if you go to that faire and talk with the guild master(Steve) you might be able to see the Dogs at work and let them know that ytou are intrested in joiningthere have been a number of member who joined by hanging out with the Dogs for a year then joining the next year

    just 1 thing to realize

    Pirates are hung

    where privateers we're well hung

Me I'm stuck in southern california and won't be able to make it up north for any Seadog events this year(Damn)

    seadog.org

    is our website

 Does anybody know of any Northern California Crews that I may join up with? I would really love to hook up with a crew and have no idea how. I myself live in Santa Cruz California which would be prime location for a Pirate crew and if there is one, I never heard of them if not, I have no clue how to begin one either.

Also is there any one who works the Northen Cali Ren Faire? I was majorally dissapointed that there was no Pirate's row like there is in the Southern Cali Faire. I would love to see a crew up here in the Northen Cali faire. Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

  3. Hi All

    Just found this site

the reason for there being no Seadogs at RPFS is that there was no money to pay the group or space when the faire moved to the other side of the park that and a few other things(faux pas that some in the group did)

The guild of St.Dymphna the Seadogs has mostly become a northern california group there are only 2 members still in southern california and I'm one of them

the Guild OF St.Dymphna is at the Heart of the forest faire in Novato right now(I won't be able to do any of that this year Damn)

there are other groups that portray sailors and privateers

    The Mariners of St Mike's

    The Poxy Boggards

My new character at RPFS is Sir John Perrot(Vice Adm to the seas of South Wales and Commissioner on Piracy for Wales and the Queen's bastard 1/2 brother)

plus next year the Constables and I will be adding Perrot's crew to RPFS as part of the Constables and the Bell(the leaping house)

even after the Seadogs where cut the ships were still there from Captain's Tabaggy thou after the 2000 year they left after a fire in the off season destroyed the booth

Just a quick note on the pirate-less SoCal Ren Faire.

    According to the actual reasoning:

The age of piracy is about a hundred years after Queen Elizabeth held the throne.  It's hard to remain in "period" when there's a such a big span of years.I think the actual reason is that they moved the Faire site away from the lake, (the old boats are dry docked back stage still) no ships = no sea dogs.

Hope this helps clear up a few things
