The fiber glass resin job dinna come out like i wanted to. Eye am in dispair but not all is lost...I will have alot of sanding in front of me to make the table presentable..I had an epic fail with a paint brush and got bristles every where.. also the resin began setting too soon while still in application which left a ruff finish in a few spots.. Dang i was nervous and regret my choice to glass it rather than just use Valspar .

I decided to embed gold dabloom replicas into the table. A bit of touch up paint and it will be ready to glass over.

Funny I rode with Alice in Wonderland on the trolley on the way to ComicCon Sunday..She had on a much shorter dress.. Of course I was a pirate..She liked that.

Glad to see all the hard work bringing about the fruit of their hands eerr! Eye wanted fancy dovetail joints so I hired an experienced hand for that..The Sea Chest is coming right along. The Box is made of sugar pine with maple trim and aromatic cedar for the till box. I am still waiting for the beckets and cleats but won't need them for another week. We are going to experiment with milk paint on test pieces. If that does not work out then it will have a dark wood marbled look like Capt. Macnamaras Sea chest.

Eye really don't know wot ye referencing to thar Patrick Hand...But post it soon because I need to make another gun for myself as My wife swiped the one posted. I am currently working with hobby kits you can buy at Frys, to make blinking lights .I fully intend on a new design having learned from the first one, with blinking lights..I just wish I knew how to make them blink in a series 1-2-3-4 ect instead of altogether.
