My sea chest is finally complete. Eye am still waiting on Capt. Macnamara to deliver the beckets and cleats. The Box is built according to plans supplied by Marlinespike.com The painted finish came out really cool and antiqued looking do to crazing.

I found very reasonable Pocket watches for around Ten dollars on this site.. I Got two from them.. Nice for the price I found American Science & Surplus a few weeks ago when Eye was looking for a test tube for my gun. The prices are not too bad but when you order they stick it to ya for the shipping.

Wow what a nice Quality piece to brandish in the face of the Scurvy Dogs eye fight at practice and events. Tis a serious sword fer a serious pirate says eye! Eye will treasure this sword always.. Thats all im up to...Eye like to share the stuff eye werk on.. My reply to Pat has nothing to do with your post or anyone else. I can only better myself. I am just entering the steampunk genre and have not made it a goal to become a steampunk gadget God..LoL...I am having fun with this because provides foder for tinkering.. All of the sudden Eye have a new interest in simple electronics.."My Steampunk" is inspired by the Queen Mary event coming up in Sept. Any event after that..I really ain't sure..yet.. I Like the Pirate community and don't care to leave it for a cup of tea.

Do you have a basic drawing of this weapon? hard for me to give an answer without attributing an unwanted modification/ suggestion.... I will venture this though..If the vase is not see through, then I suggest maybe using Styrofoam filling and then carve out the room you need for the electronics. Home depot sells the expanding foam in a can.

I finished sanding the table down as much as I dared without taking the paint up and re-did the finish with an amber shalac. The Table is to my liking and the coins have even a bit more deeper definition due to the amber effect. The great thing about resin is that when it is re-applied, all the scratches from sanding (I went all the way to using 600 wet and dry) does not show up. It turns clear. eye am calling this my own personal Pirate lords table.. Eye decided to use the Disney image on the Tiki bar with a piece of Plexiglass over it. Aye So NoW Eye am ready for a dead mans party and you all can come on the 22nd of this month..If not ..hell I will have a swill of rum fer yas all in a toast.. Gotta go swab the deck now..Gotta clean up before guest arrive. I am excited.. This is the first party I be having here..we went all out fer it too. The Treasure chest is the next project as far as the cove is concerned. Mean while it has been converted into an ice chest for the party..Yarrr ~
