It be me intention, if there be sufficient numbers of pyrates who can make the movie but can't do the sail on the Clipper City, to see about some additional cavorting and roving at Arundel Mills the day of this event. See more in Mad Molly's thread.

I'd be interested in that. A couple of my crew mates have stated that they wouldnt be interested in cruising, but otherwise they're all ready for rowdyness to ensue.

If you pull the right strings maybe we can have one of those pre release partys.....The kind that we would see the movie the night before opning night......I would bet a radio station would eat this up,and have the pull to get it aranged!!!!!

But are you willing to do the behind the scenes work ahead of time to get info on doing this?

Aye, well it seems there be interest but no bloody plan! If left to me, I vote for Saturday at Muvico Egyptian. If there be interest, and a large number of pyrates willin' to raid the place, perhaps a hail to the theater might be in order.

Well I was going to plan something but another MD Captain told me that there were plans underway here.

I know that the crew of the Polly Dodger would definitely be interested in attending an "invasion" of a movie theater for the premiere of POTC 2. I was actually going to start an invasion for our Crew when Captain Duncan mentioned to me that there was already plans in the works.

I can't wait for the movie to open and it's a week before my birthday. What a great way to spend it with friends.

lets see.. you can see my shoulder and my Mistress of the Lists in one of your pics. My NC ambassador in another and my personal cabin boy in yet another. Haha... my crew was all over the place this weekend.

I was there this weekend and spoke briefly with Crimson Corsair but unfortunately never got to meet anyone else from the Pyracy Pub (outside of those I already know at MDRF). I'm glad everyone had a good time and cant wait to see pics. I'll post mine as soon as I can.

A nice dip in the water aye, not much o' a swimmer but i do enjoy to gets me feet wet on occasion. 

I do hope sir that you never have the opportunity to walk the plank. Swimming is a skill that might come in handy on such an occassion.

Wow, this is interesting! I've never seen anyone where pins/buttons at faire before and I've gone a lot. Is this becoming something new, a recent thing? Or, I just never looked that closey on people before.

Oh we have a vendor at MDRF that makes tons of pewter pins with such classics as"

"Thats not me peg leg"

"Prepare to be boarded"

"Official Kilt inspector"

"Dungeon bate" (for our minors)

and lots of others.

I'm thinking of getting one to pin to my bodice/corset for when I wear outside of the faire; "Yes, this is a corset, No, it isn't uncomfortable, Yes, I can breath,

I'd wear a pin like that and add - it's more comfortable than an underwire bra!

I tell guys all the time.. I'd rather wear my corset than a bra any day of the week.

How about 2:00.

2:00 sounds great. I know lots of people that don't even get to fair until after lunch time anyway.

So how about we use the White Heart Tavern as our all day base of operations. Those who arrive early can periodically check there for other members. The main assembley could be at 2:00, where we hangout, chat and wait for stragglers. Then sometime after 3:00 when it looks like everyone is present and accounted for, we take the group Pyracy Pub picture at 3:00. After that we can continue standing around displaying plumage and disperse as we would at a party, our hang out until the cannons go off, the singing ends and the police forces us off the property.

Why don't ya meet us then go huntin' with us?

I would love to but that hunting part takes effort.

I don't know, I just might. There is already so much to do at the fair and I never get to do, see or buy everything I want.

I know my kids are pretty excited about the scavenger hunt.

The White Hart is my home. I'm almost always there unless I've run off on a pub crawl. Our ship has a commissioning ceremony there on Saturday at noon and I'll be around there most of the day (minus a pub crawl or 2).

I can't imagine the meet n' greet being earlier than 11:30am, and those of us who want to participate in the scavenger hunt will need to go off at noon, so whoever wants to stick around can do so. Why don't ya meet us then go huntin' with us?

I guess I just mean to say it all sounds good to me...

Just remember... its teams of 2-3 and a $5 registration fee for the scavenger hunt.

So do we have a head count so far on the incampment????

Looks like the Crew of the Polly Dodger will either be traveling from home or staying at a near by Inn. I haven't any of my crewmates showing interest in Camping. Ah well... I do hope to come by and partake of the festivies after faire though.
