  1. ok, that was till I got into the rum. I was doing my job! Rum Wench, remember? and there was lots and lots and lots of lovely rum consumed by me. :)

Sheila's bottle trick was performed to the delight and amazement of the crew. Movies will be available for a small fee.

Thanks to all the crew for allowing me to get totally trashed last night and be extremely annoying without giving me too much h*ll. I do appriciate that. Cheers to our wonderful crew.

  2. Paisley and and the boy child (along with a newly reunited suggi-pug) and Cinn say hello as well! We had a wonderful time at Disney Quest. The girls team beat the guys by 400...yes 400 points...in the Pirates of the Caribbean game. Girls rule!

Tonight we are going to the pubs, we plan on drinking rum before we leave, so who knows what trouble we'll be getting into. I'm sure the stories will be many.

I can report that we have found out a tickle spot on Black Skot.

Sheila has been doing some intense snuggling.

The captain's brother the monkey is talking to him.

Cinn made it back off the Disney cruise and doesn't seem to be too scarred by the constant 'it's a small world' exposure.

Diosa looks great as a monkey, and is damn good at flying a carpet.

Paisley doesn't think there is anything that Skot sucks at.

    I'm being a perfect angel.

For everyone who didn't get here from great frozen north, it was 81 degrees today and we had a great time at Disney, the tourists loved us of course and there were a ton of FOTO's taken. A lot of pirates in garb walking around downtown Disney were not at all in the spotlight. More stories as they happen.

  3. Patrick,

as good at the theory is, i'm not sure it would feel the same when you go outside in shorts. B) What color were you thinking of painting the snow to make it sand? A whole yard full of tan or yellow snow might have the neighbors wondering.

    Boomer,

I'm not sure what camel spiders are, but please please please leave them over there! Spiders give me the creeps.

  4. To all of you who try and bribe us to make the Journey. the distance is not the problem. Our company is suffering from the slow season right now so me and studley are the only competant staff and our weekends are busy. If we could make it we would be there but until we could survive in the same conditions as we do now by doing what we love (which is hanging out with you) we are cast ashore off the Blackheart.

To you we miss and if the fates saw it fit we wouold be there.

Tis only that we will be missing your smiling faces this weekend!

  5. The museum is great. I was at the pre-opening party and got a tour and was at the ribbon cutting. It was a great time and the museum is wonderful. A lot of hard work, thought and money went into the planning went into this. It's worth the time if you get down here to key west!

  6. Didja go...?

Checked out thier web page....... dang.... another reason to go to PiP again next year......

I did indeed make it to the opening. Unfortunately a friend of mine passed away on New Years Eve and the funeral was yesterday, so I was running a bit late, but there was plenty of time to go thru everything. (and an open bar!) I was VERY impressed! Pat and Kelly have put a lot of time and effort into making this place look wonderful. A few of the highlights are : the only authenticated pirate treasure chest in existance, one of the only 2 pirate flags, blackbeards blunderbuss... an animtronic (sp?) blackbeard head that tells stories. there are a lot of other treasures in there, as i said there was a LOT of free rum before I went thru, so i'm going to have to make another trip sober and see everything again when i have some time on my hands. For the price, it's definately worth seeing. Especially for us pirates!

So you'll just have to wander back this way for PIP 2005!

BTW, I talked to Pat and Kelly and they are working on getting the all of the links up and going. I believe they are video links for a bit of a virtual tour.

  7. Seeing that me and Studley have no itinerary we are just going to drink ourselves into a stupper, not scupper.  So you in portlando have fun we will brave the not so frigid S.C. alone except for our rum.

Tis sad indeed that I am driving 8 hours to spend a day drinking myself into a stupper with the crew, while YOU guys are only 5 hours away from portlando and aren't making the trip.......(hint hint there guys) most of the crew is gonna be there, what exactly is stopping you....

as i told another crew member -

    Gas - $40

time spent with our wonderful captain and crew - priceless!

  8. Notice to all crewe,

Forgive my transgressions of the previous evening that may or may not have happened, either those thought or acted upon, whether it involved any of you in my conscious or dream state, clothed or naked, with or without the monkey and other animals present at the table. Thanks for your attention to this matter...

    The Captain

Did the Captain have an interesting evening? You couldn't wait till the weekend so I could see it ?!?

  9. The website for the Pirate Soul museum is up and running now, it had a few glitches last time I checked it, but i'm sure they are working on it.

    www.piratesoul.com

The museum is opening tomorrow, I was to attend the pre-opening, but I'm not sure if I will be able to or not now. I'll try to get some pictures when I can for everyone. It looks like a very cool museum.

  10. this is a quick note for anyone who was on the nighttime exploration of Fort Zach or saw the pictures that were taken there. I was speaking with Shea from the Fort last night and when i mentioned the experiences and photos he told me he knew exactly which room we were in. I went on to tell him the location of the room and there is a very good reason for what happened there. We were in the infirmary, and almost 500 men died in that room of yellow fever. Kids, if that doesn't give you goosebumps, then I don't know what will.

  11. I am certain that upon my return there will be much whipping and shaping...then more whipping.

ahhh. some people have all the luck... :(

Welcome aboard the Blackheart! We are a fun crew, to be sure. Captain, I propose we have a drink to welcome our new crew member aboard!

With your permission I will go below and find one of the *special* barrels that I have been holding back, (cuz the captain would flog me for touching the special stuff, and a foolish rum wench i am not) and we can toast our new crew member and the new year both!

Welcome from the rum wench, Joejacks!

  12. the rest of the crewe has the night off with double rations

Double rations..... how many barrels is that? :(

Double Rations....Barrels....Patrick, anyone who uses both those in one post is my new best friend...now, where be these barrels? :)

  13. I'm off to a New Years Eve sail on the 'Wolf'. It's 76 degrees and beautiful down here.

Wishing the entire crew, from Captain to cabin boy and all in between, a happy and heathly new year full of blessings.

May you live as long as you want,

And never want as long as you live.

May the saddest day of your future be no worse

Than the happiest day of your past

May your day be filled with blessings

Like the sun that lights the sky,

And may you always have the courage

To spread your wings and fly!

    Happy New Year Everyone!!! :(

  14. keep in mind that that there is a youth hostel in key west. I believe it's about $28 per night per person for dorm style accomodations. I stayed there when I moved to Key West and it's not so bad. close to Duval St. You can pretty much walk anywhere from there. I'm pretty sure you need reservations. I don't know much about it, but I can find out more if you like. In season down here, that's as cheap as it gets!

this link will give you more info. the buttons to look at the different pages are at the top.

    Hope to see you!!!!
