Hmm. Is changing the monitor to a higher screen resolution out of the question?

I'm not sure, but I think there's still a link in your user profile that shows how many points you have or don't have. I haven't actually clicked it yet or figure out what it does exactly , but I do know that it's there and removing it is on my list of stuff todo. Keep complaining - otherwise I'm going to run out of the small easy tasks and have to get back working on the larger - more difficult stuff.

There isn't a global 'Mark as Read' feature that can be done from the main index, at least not one I've been able to find yet. But up in the title bar, top right of each forum there is a '(Mark this forum as read)' selectable text link option thingy you can click on, unfortunately you have to go into each and every forum to execute that function. Originally I was going to right it off as just an annoying issue, but you're not the only one who has complained or commented - I'm not making any promises, but I'll add it to my list and see what can be done.

Pay no attention to man behind the curtain. People may have just had problems while I was recompiling database structures or when I was messing around with various controls - I'm tweaking and re-tweaking just about everything I look at. Plus I did edit some code that crashed the board for a minute.

Danster, If it's who I think it was, they signed up a couple or three times asking for slightly different Pub account names, using different email address - it was considered suspicious activity and deleted as a possible spam-bot. Have them try to sign on again and email me their login name.

The Warning system should still be there - to the left, at the bottom, under the avatar. I think this reputation thing is hard wired/coded in, I've dug through all the settings and can't find a reference. I really don't feel like digging through code, they've rewritten and renamed everything - doesn't looking so familiar. Hey I could just break the damn thing by hacking the database - hehehe. . . . time to make a phone call me thinks.

Actually I had it turned off on our previous incarnation - it's just one of those things that turned it's self on during the upgrade and slipped through the cracks. Thanks you Mister Roberts for noticing and saying something about it - it's another thing I'll add it to the Bug/Fix It list, but I should be able to take care of this one rather immediately.

I get all the communiques sent to that account - PM, email and otherwise. . . I haven't received anything from you though. Maybe you can give me more specifics on the how you tried to make contact and what kind of error reply you got, when you PM me.

VIEW NEW CONTENT / RECENT POSTS: Other than being over run with way too many posts - the newest posts should be accumulating within the top number of pages. Even if it's feed you too many posts, does '=1&st=0"]Recent Posts' work in that way for anyone?

UNREAD FORUMS: Up in the title bar, at the top right of every forum there is a '(Mark this forum as read)' text option you can select. I'm not going to classify this as a bug, sorry I'm writing this one off as one of those annoying things.

The icons are missing. The software has done something strange to the old quote commands so that old posts with quotes are sort of hard to read. The gallery thing at the top of the forum is sort of annoying. (Ok, that's an opinion, not a bug.) RANKING: Yep it looks like our ranking system got completely wiped - that should be easy enough to fix. QUOTES: It looks like the old quotes got mangled along with previously applied font attributes. As far as I can tell the information is there. . . GALLERY: Actually I just wanted to have a single random or latest gallery image show up on a side panel, but I kind of like the string of images across the top. I'll try it out a couple or three different ways over the next bunch of months and see what kind of feedback we get or don't get.

Haha - Now just you wait until I (re)organize and break everything. But for now it looks like the Pub has survived the software upgrade. Aside from some text and font attributes that were applied in previous messages getting scrabbled, it doesn't look like too much got broken. For the most part it should just look different, some features should be fixed and made obvious that they're there now. . . In any case, those of you who find bugs and want to help squish 'em, please post the what, when and where of it here. Everyone, thank you for your support and patience.
