You know, I'm sure that there is - though I don't know how. If I understand what you want correctly, I remember playing around trying to do something similar, though I never got it to work the way I wanted. Right now the database structures organize everything by timestamp - the time a given thing was posted. But there are special cases for pinned topics, but even then they just appear once inside a given thread. Anyway - it's another one of those things I'll throw on the list.

Well...I've waited a bit to see if our kind Stynky worked some more magic on this chat site. Lo and behold...I can! Thank you Stynky for your grand work. So Cheeky, Is your problem solved? (Sing songy sounding)....It's Ba..ack! Today I tried to upload photos from a recent event, and I cannot see the entire pop-up...(far left-justified). What's a girl gonna do but call upon the grand Stynky for help! Sorry Cheeky, I'm on the road at the moment, some I'm a bit limited in what I can get done - let me look into it.

It's just a minor patch that should fix most - if not all of the bugs in our current version of the Pub. Hopefully this won’t take too long and we’ll be back online soon after we close. - Stynky

Showing a user's local should be trivial - I'm thinking that it's a simple layout switch. . . I just need to find it in the new administrator interface. In any case - it's another thing I'll add to the list.

Sorry for this tardy reply Guys. I believe the image strip at the top is set to display the most recently posted images. Now if you logout and you see images from the Blackbeard event again. . . well I don't have an answer why that is, but would suspect some sort of browser cookie thingy. As for a gallery search function. . . the answer is:yes we have one, but it seems to be out of order - I'll add it to my todo list. A software patch for has come out - I'm going to try and install that later tonight - lets see how much it fixes.

Thanks William. We obviously have a bug in the PM personal messaging system. A patch has come out - I'll try an install it later tonight. Lets hope it's indeed a fix. Sorry Guys.

I've actually made everyone's PM inbox huge - but there seems to be a bug in the system. A patch came out while I was away from me post - I'll probably give it an install tonight after reading through the docs. I hope this will fix it and a few other problems.

I'm away at an event in Baltimore (non-pyrate specific) right now and can't dig into this real deep, but maybe I have a security setting ratcheted up too high. Plus we just had a data switch and some server connection problems that might be or may have been the problem. Also I think blank spaces are invalid inside of your CAPTCHA authentication question reply, but using spaces in your username should be fine. . . In any case I'll throw this on the list and see what I can figure out.

Yep the only way to fix that is to either, 1) switch back to UTF-8 or 2) go back in an re-edit your post with the appropriate punctuation. Option 1) isn't going to happen and unless you want to do it, option 2) isn't very likely. I think the important thing is fixed - you can loggin.

Haha - I have a feeling that there's a joke in there somewhere - though I don't know what it is.

Sorry Sjöröveren, Silkie - When we migrated over, the software defaulted to UTF-8 font encoding from ISO 8859-1 font encoding. I didn't think anything about it at the time, but it should be fixed now.

Sorry about that - I knew it changed in display, didn't realize it affected your login. I'll get right on to fixing it.

Sorry, I just got back in town and on my computer. I've tracked down the problem and indeed the archive feature has been disappeared. I've given technical support my two or three cents on the subject - we're not the only ones complaining and supposedly they're working on a fix. Until then I'll increase the size of everyone's inbox.

Not a problem - just let me know if you notice any difference for better or worse. . . I'm probably playing around with too many options at once.

The Administration interface is a bit busy right now - recompiling Posts and PMs, but I seem to remember a mention that by default a 15 min delay was in place to keep things CPU & webserver friendly. I'm pretty sure I can change that and I'll give it a try as soon as I can.

I'm rebuilding the Personal Message database structure as I type this - it's having to process a lot of messages. I have a few more things I need to rebuild after it's done compiling. Then I'll resync everything again - hopefully this will fix it.
