  1. Thanks Captain - I may bug you again in a bit to see if it's working for you (or anybody) or not.
  2. Okay I'll add that refinement to the list, drop it down to the bottom of the pile, close, unpin this topic and let it go away.
  3. Just a reminder to me I guess - even though it's on my list. But your reply has reminded me to double check the status of my question about it in the client support forum. . .
  4. Cheeky, did we ever figure out or fix this problem during our system software upgrades?
  5. Hey Mission, would you consider this fixed and working now?
  6. Correct, when you select the second Pyracy Pub (which will be going away) - that takes you to the Pyracy Pub Category, where the bulk of the forums live for the moment. . . I'm going to mess all that up later toady though, hehehe.
  7. To honest I'm still not sure how that thing is going to be reorganized in the end, maybe a forum for each event is a bad idea. But until everything is connected with/through/to the calendar, we're not really going to know - does form follow function or does function follow form.
  8. The events forum is way out of focus and will need attention after this current phase of changes are made and have settled down. But even if an event has been posted for a year, I'm not sure that's long enough for it to take root. In my mind if the promoter or an enthusiastic representative hasn't been invited on board and given the opportunity to advertise, do publicity, campaign for attention, take over and run the forum - I'm not sure that year is a measure of anything. The small events can't become big events if no one knows to go to them. Plus similar to what I think Mission is saying, once events actually get joined up with the calendar and become active-clickable calendar events, they'll be much easier to navigate. However, I do think we've figured out over the last year that we need to rotate the events, to keep the most relevant ones at the top of the pile.
  9. Gosh - do we have a wonderful mess going on or what?
  10. Sorry, thought I had fixed this already - I'm working on it.
  11. Like those damned grocery stores - just when you get comfortable with where they've stocked your favorite brand of hardtack, everything gets shuffled around and you can't find anything. Well believe it or not - in an attempt to make this unwieldy vessel into something a bit more navigable, a whole lot of changes are on the horizon. Now you don't have to like it, just pretend to. - Stynk
  12. Hey Pais, yep it's double door pattern. But that's a good point. Does anyone know how much this Home Depot/Lowes stuff does or doesn't shrink? Not that I know much about such things but Mooseworth, it looks to be a petty sweet pattern. Show us some in-process pictures of it being built.
  13. I don't know about hitting St. Aggy this year - I'm juggling a lot and trying to get some stuff to happen before PIP rolls around. As for tunes - my friend keeps asking where I'm finding the stuff (of course I don't give you any credit), but it's mainly that demented 50s/60s surf bongo island music - very cool stuff. Hey are you hitting PIP this year?
  14. Paisley!!! How are you - what have you been up to? Where the hell have you been? I know that you just asked me a similar question on MySpace, but I chose to leach some of those sweet tunes off your play list instead of actually replying to your message. Plus as a poor excuse - I seem to be spending more time here than there these days. Anyway, WELCOME BACK!
  15. Oh should I be paying attention? . . . um, I still have the poles to make and then a practice pitch, but I think mine takes up a 10'x12' space.
  16. Oi, do both of 'em at the same time or I'll hate you even more! ITLPD Talk Like a Pirate Day Ocean Conservancy International Coastal Cleanup Day
  17. http://pyracy.com/index.php?showtopic=15104 I haven't checked the other index threads. Most of them are pinned, although I think that one (the second post in particular) probably has the most links contained in it. It actually worked ok until I edited it, so the older threads may be grandfathered in until they get changed. (Trouble being, this is what index threads are for...) I think it is only affecting new posts, as the old "Garb Index from Twill" (now found in the Sewing Room) is still looking like it is working.. See here Thanks Michael! I think that's the problem, because everything seems to be in good working order. I've checked the links and nothing looks corrupt - they just don't seem to be pointing to existing threads anymore. And that's probably the result of all the splitting, moving and merging we've been doing. Unless you're saying that they were all working last night before the upgrade. . . I still have some settings to go through and tables to rebuild. If that doesn't fix it, then someone will need to go back in and edit the thread.
  18. I'm just about to go over the admin settings (again) - one by one. But feel free to send me a link to the where, so I know what you're talking about.
