I've read all 20 full books and just got "21" for christmas. Will be reading that this weekend.

Loved every bit of them.

I also got a lovely referance book for christmas, "Patrick O'Brian's Navy". It's a great book, it covers topics from life in England, to how the watch's on a ship where oganized. Diagrams of the masts, lines, square sails and fore and aft sails. I would suggest it to any one interested in either POB or just the Brittish Navy in general.

If ye be lookin' to learn STAGE FIGHTING, fighting for the theater, movies, and such, with safety a priority, Then you be wantin' the SAFD, The Society of American Fight Directors. They offer classes in many diferent places, the big one being a two week course at UNLV. They certify thier fighters, directors, teachers, and this certification is valuable in the theater, and also in the REnn Faire circles.

I personally was cerified by the SAFD, in unarmed combat, with training towords other weapon styles.

But if your not looking for that kind of thing, then try fencing, yea there are rules, but it is non correographed combat against a real opponent, an

Well I'll be there but probably not as Rigger. I've had a special request to appear as Stritch the Troll (a recuring character of mine when I perform at Great Lakes Medieval Faire). Keep a weather eye out for a six+ foot tall, big pointy eared, behorned, green shirt and lottsa leather wearin' troll.

I be from north east Ohio, and have been to Ohio Renn in the past. Have been part of the cast of Great Lakes Medieval Faire for the past eight years now.
