Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoooooaaa there, lass. Wait for the others. Ye'll end up rupturing yourself.
(chuckles)
You don't lack enthusiasm. Fiesty, dyslexic badger.
(tips hat)
Master Diego.
Permission to go ashore and buy what arms as may be had in this small port ere we depart. With the exception of a few personal pistols and some muskets of antiquity, it is my believe that the ships compliment of arms is...how shall I put this?...insufficient for our defense.
Can you heave a rope?
(pours a strong glass of South Pacific coffee)
There you go. And don't spill it on any of your clothing. This stuff leaves a mark.
I may have created a misunderstanding. The example of my work is my own flag. The one I have in mind for the Watch Dog is significantly different.
I haven't begun that one yet. I'm waiting on word from our Captain.
Today's special is this...
...and it is free to any deckhand and able seaman that will help me upright the Kate today.
Ever since she came into my possesion by accident or fate I have puzzled over the problem of her list. Ever since the Tsunami brought her hard fast upon this beachhead she has been lodged in the rocks and she sits uneven. Tis only a five degree list, it's true, but when the patrons start drinking and dancing they all tend to gravitate to larboard right along with the ship.
This is what I propose. We run lines to the capstans and the date palms about the ship and we haul her til she's level.
Any able arm will be appreciated and free drinks and fare for the duration!
The turkey is on the spit and all the trimmings will come as they may.

(tips hat) Aye.
All good salts are handy with a needle. One can never know when one may be asked to repair a sail or mend one's own clothes.
Please inform the Captain that I am about and he may send for me at his leisure to discuss the matter. For the time being, I leave this fair example of my work.
(tips hat)
Well, the Tsunami has always listed a few degrees to larboard on account of the rocks she is resting on. I plan to use block and tackle in conjunction with the capstan to heave her back to starboard those few degrees.
I'm in a good mind to upright the Kate tomorrow. I think I'll fashion lines from the capstans and windlass to the trees near the Tsunami and straighten out her list.
(strolls down from the northern treeline carrying his boots in one hand and a long bottle made of blown blue glass)
Good evening, Christine. It's a fine night not to be about anything don't you think? Why, the Tsunami practically runs herself anymore. Yoou'd be surprised how often I find coin waiting for me whe I get up in the morning, or when I return from an absence of hours.
(walks straight out into the water while talking)
Aye. It's a fine night to about absolutely nothing.
I just recieved my belaying pins from Captain_MacNamara. I purchased unfinished versions of them and I am quite pleased. They have a slightly rough, hand-turned look that gives them an antiqued and well-used appearance. Aye. They are slightly different from one another and look as though they've come from two completely different sets or ships.
Very nice work, Captain. Aye. Very nice indeed.
I shall now get to work carving some celtic knotwork on one of them before varnishing.
Does anyone do an art poster for the Festival?
It looks like I'll be going this year and I'd love to do a site poster as a giveaway to fellow pirates.

EDIT - I see that there already is an artist for this function.
