Popped in and popped out. Busy, busy, busy. How are you all doing? Sorry I've been away quite a bit but the paperwork piled up and it has to get done. Sorry. But by all means.. Pop in and say hi. It will be nice to come back to hellos.

Sorry for not popping by. Got busy with sending half the crew to Hat's Off Day and the other half in Steveston for Ship to Shore. This weekend Boat for Hope, Next weekend Langley Days, then Rusty Scuppers and then Canada Day. All the while rehearsal, edits and such. I'm crazy and loving it!!

Let's see. Costume repairs for this weekend's gig? Almost done. Swrods oiled up and scabbards checked? YUP! Boys sashes and bandanas all present? Mostly but since they are not always mentally there not sure it matters. ;-P Exhausted from all of that, sword practice and paperwork. YUP. Ready to pirate up the Diamond Ball fundraiser.. HELL YEAH!!! Now to sleep.

Up late getting ready for rehearsals tomorrow. Tired as we were at the storage locker getting items for the Corporate Staf party/awards banquet later this week. The ship and dock were buried under BCRF set pieces. What a day. Long sleep tonight.

Ye know ye are a Pirate when the app store for your iDevice doesn't include gunpowder handling advice, list of pirate events, or a half decent english to Pirate or Gaelic translator or a history of piracy app, and this upsets you. Just an update that plans are progressing for PPF. We have another "yes" with a vehicle! Lookin' forward to makin a great impression from North of the '49 and the Rackham Fleet!

Aye!...It always be good where ever ye show up!...It has been a long time, guess I've been a frustrated pirate not bein able to do what me wants an' always wantin' more. Cant complain that much though got a lot of piratin' this year but thar' still be things that be keepin' me from me true pirate self. If ye be at PPF will see ye Thar!

Calling all able bodied pirates. We are still at Cathedral Park trying to repair the damage from the Biblical Rains and vehicles.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE WEEKEND!!! Rusty Scuppers was WICKED. Vows renewed, Good people by our side, mini brigs sailed, kids played with.. sigh... I hope to get some pics up here but plenty is up and happening on Facebook (Christina Carr - Jade Dragon Pirates). Now to focus on the BC Renaissance Festival. Source of rumours that we are cancelled found and presently being repaired. Canada Day Parade set. New MacKay hat present. I'm a very HAPPY woman.

Quick pop in and then out. Volunteering for Variety Children's Charity this Hallowe'en week, still doing BCRF edits and prepping for Steamcon (doing panels for them) plus all the other things... Yeah.. All a blur really but worth every moment... Later.

Just had a very positive BCRF/Jade Dragon meeting. Happy to see our dedication to contracts & good people is paying off. I have three more meetings this week and plans for Portland and performance are coming along. I look forward to seeing you all again.

Little overtired from al the work I am catching up on. Apologies for not being by recently.

Finalising a contract for a public gig fund raiser, setting up for two presentations over the next 2 weeks, making copies of paperwork for obligation mid Feb. fight practice, singing practice, video edits, web stuff, social media - My computer and I are spending WAY too much time together. Miss you all. Will try to come back more often but...

A quick check in. Writing script, prepping for gig, going to see a friend off tonight (moving East), Meeting tomorrow another Sunday and first batch of auditions Monday and Tuesday. Don't know where my head is at so if anyone found it, let me know.

I know.. To bed I must go. Hurt my foot and it is now covered in rub and wrapped for bed. Seeing Dr. Tomorrow. TTFN.

The foot still hurts and today's fight practice was tough but I made it through. Corrective inserts come next week (by Wed. they said) and I'll hopefully arrive in Portland out of pain.
