  6. Jib - Possibly, bit I would think that any ornate treasures would be broken up and spoils shared out amongst the crew rather than being saved by any 'collector' in the ship. A rather plain and unusual curved dagger may have made it into personal possession as part of the split but anything exotic with precious metals or gems... I would doubt it. Jas. Hook

  11. The word "kraken" seems to have an interesting effect on Steampunks... to paraphrase and throw in a geek reference, "Kraken? That is a worship word, you shall not speak it".   15. Any thoughts on the small diameter wheel on right-hand side? A balance weight, different grit, polish wheel, or a buffer????? The larger grindstone looks as if it would be in the way of most work that would be performed on the smaller wheel. Jas. Hook

  17. Bo - Although using a sabot as a dripper is practical, as shown in sketch, but would it give a too 'old world' look to your setup? Perhaps a copper pot or a gourd would be more in order. Now, when are ye setting up? I've work for the grindman. Jas. Hook
