  1. ok course. i forgot about that. It's a pity the top one isnt clearer as you can just make out the front but not in any detail
  2. Theres actually another in that series of a drunken dutch Sailor I like the knife he is carrying and the fact he uses ribbons to tie up his stockings. I think its also interesting that Dutch alcohol seems to come in small square bottles. His hat also seems to be a customised wide brimmed peter the great cap.
  3. I was looking at the size of the bottles and I got to wondering if they might actually be double layered boxes (much like how modern tool boxes have the tray bit that lifts out to get to space below). From the top one it looks like there is 6 rows of 5 sections for the bottles making 30 bottles. If it was double layered that would increase to 60 bottles. Interestingly the little case on the floor next to it reminds me a lot of this one on an ebay auction: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Late-17th-Century-English-Shagreen-Instrument-Case-/310256693955?pt=UK_Antiques_Science_RL&hash=item483cbd72c3

  7. Just made a new version of this belt made from natural split leather treated with waterproofing to look like a period buff leather belt and fastened together with copper rivets. This leather is a lot cheaper so the price has come down to $60 (includes shipping)

  9. I finally found the picture from "A Prooved Practice" again. Thought i'd post it as the links to the original picture disappeared. Theres a nice page in his book too of a man who looks like he's fallen into the weapons storage chest

  16. Heres another Buckle (number 8) I just found on the colonial Williamsburg site: http://research.history.org/DigitalLibrary/View/index.cfm?doc=ResearchReports%5CRR1555.xml
  17. Just shipped it off so unfortunately I cant take any more pictures of it. I did fix the link to the picture it is based on above though so that shows you how it sits.
  18. I'm only able to produce one at a time. So I am currently unable to price them I'm going to look into having some sent to a company that can produce say 20 at a time. Then I can sell them at a decent price. Right now I've spent countless hours and I have two of a single design done. Thats the best way to go. Just produce the masters then get them cast in bulk as I am sure you will get plenty of orders.
  19. Just got new stock of paper in so these maps are available once again. If you dont see what you are after in this thread then let me know and I will try and find it.
  20. definately. If you fancy trading anything for them let me know.
  21. I may make some more but I'd have to work out the cost as theres quite a lot of metalwork on it that bumps the price up.
  22. A Sword Belt I recently made based on a picture of a Fantasy Pirate Girl. It has all period correct brass buckles and includes a detachable Pistol holster with leg strap and a Sword scabbard for one of Baltimore Knife and Swords Cutlass . The top part of the belt tightens around the waist while the thicker bottom part of the belt hangs loose over the hips.
