And as the woman who commissioned it, can I even tell you how excited I am seeing this come along!!!! (So excited I even found my pub password when Pete told me he was putting the progress reports up here :) )
I was lucky enough to win the auction for the map case he made for the Dead Men's Chest Auction at Fort Taylor a couple years back, and I can't wait to have the sister map frame to go with it and be a part of my Port Royal presentation!!

So a very very very belated thank you to everyone. What can I say... I'm good at getting myself locked out of the Pub and just found this as I was catching up from....umm...January?? How sad is that... Thank you again!

Here's the final blog installment. Don't want to read the whole thing, no prob - skip down to the After(math) report and heroes sections though. They let you know who lost what and how to help and give you a look at a couple pirate heroes :)

Ahoy all, I am posting a 5-part blog on this years events at PIP and FTPI.

Lob's new armaments arrived either early this week, or late last week (I was out of town, so who can say)... And they are awesome! They fit Lob well, and are a rather striking matched set!
If Master Alan would like to contribute to the monkey's delinquency, then who am I to object... In fact, I would have to support that idea %110!!!
and the pictures of him trying them out are where?????

How about simply a map like google with a flag where an event is. When the mouse is placed ove the flag it will show the dates and a link to hopefully a thread pertaining to the event.
I am sure this option is a lot more work, but I like it :)

As we discussed briefly at Ft. De Chartres, I went seacrching for my little cutlass for Lob. It is lost and I've no idea where it went. Amazing things do happen when you are searching for "something else" though. I found these little "swizzeswords, all that is left of a set my parents had when I was a kid:
If these are suitable for arming the little crewman, I will send them along to you if you'll PM me with your addy. The big Rapier the principal weapon, and the little foil-like blade as the Main Gauche? Anyhow, they're yours if you can use them to outfit your crewman Lob.

Pete, that is just wonderful!I love that I now have the 1668 Port Royal map on the outside of the doc case, then my 1756 map inside :) Beautiful work sir, as always!!! Thank you!!! Now I can't wait to see it in person!!
