Shipwreck John
I have been looking for a couple of good solid color Bandanas to go with my outfit. Most of my stuff is storebought, so I look more like a Hollywood Pirate than a "Period" one. I did find this link and ordered one or two from there. http://www.brandsonsale.com/solcolban.html Do you happen to know of any other places that make good solid bandanas? greenighs
solid color bandanas Can't vouch for the quality, but for authenticity regarding GAoP, it gets no stars. It looks like a fun old-west site, though!

Gentleman of Fortune
I would imagine that the plain silk ones would be ok... but I am not sure of what kind of silk it is. If its Duoponi then I would stay away. If you search the plunder section, I think you will find some similar threads.... In one of them there is a link to a lady that makes period style Calico (hand stamps it) and if you could get that on linen it would be as good as anything going (and better than most).
