ere is the second version of "Black Bart Roberts" famous "ABH AMH" flag.<br /><br />This black assign was seen on the first edition of Johnson's General History.<br /><br />As you can see this version has an "St. George Cross"in the left corner of the flag.<br /><br />English War ships often flew "Red" flags with the St George cross in the corner around the time of Roberts operations.<br /><br />Other ships such as those of Privateers around the time, <br />had a "white" flag with the St. George Cross in the left corner.
