The time has come for a major Change in Latitude... To expedite this process, I am divesting myself of most Worldly Possessions. The Book Collection will be the first few bits of this valuable flotsam and jetsam are currently available through barter with the Amazons... http://www.amazon.com/shops/islandcutter I still have MANY titles to list... lots of books on Pirates (of course), many books on Sailing, Boatbuilding, Woodworking, and Home Repair. You don't get much for selling books on Amazon. I am more interested in seeing them go to good homes. Look over the titles, and feel free to contact me privately if you would like to get a special "package deal" on several …

Hello everyone, As some of you may know our brother Adam Cyphers is in need of some cash, and has been selling off a lot of his kit. I'd prefer not to see this happen to one of my favorite sailor/ blacksmith/people in the living history community. I don't have the cash to buy any of his stuff, but I do have a map I'm willing to part with It’s hand plotted, sketched, then inked, on cotton laid paper. The overall map is 34 ½” tall and 24 ½” inches wide. The top half of the map covers from the 30 degrees latitude (central Florida) to 15 degrees (South of Jamaica) It even includes soundings around Key West :-) The lower half of the map is an enlarged map of the island …

No rips/tears or major staining/mildew present, overall in very good condition. Asking price was $1200 but i was told an even $1000 would get it. PM me for a contact number if interested. Then you can deal with the owners directly. Thanks.. Bo

Original 18th century cutlass/hanger blade with antler grip and brass fittings for sale. The antler has a split on the back side and the blade has pitting and patina commensurate with age. I bought this some years ago with plans to do a restoration, but haven't ever found the time so am reluctantly selling. I'm looking for $250 but will consider sensible offers from pub-users.

A pirate talks about looking for buried treasure! Are there buried pirate treasures? If captured, few pirates wanted to be caught with incriminating evidence. Since most pirates died suddenly and unexpectedly (many were killed in battle, hundreds drowned, and many succumbed to disease), it is safe to say that great fortunes were buried on lonely beaches by roving pirates who never returned. Ahoy, Mates. Been a while since I've been on here(Getting involved with a different type of costuming and weaponry, mainly one that involves cowboy hats and sixguns.) Anyhow, with POTC II out, my interests is coming back around to pirates. My brother wants and likes to build his own muzzleloaders, so I've asked him to help me make a shooting replica of Capt. Jack's pistol(I know you can get a replica, but I don't like wallhangers,if it don't go bang, it's no good to me). The main thing I need help with are some good pictures to figure out the barrel, lock, stock styles, and also the sideplates and butt cap, plus the dimensions of the pistol(I'm wanting the one from th…

T'would seem that way back in June I made an unfortunate error and made my first post not about my goodself and from whence I hail, but about a delicious item by which my Master and I offered for sale. Although none have challenged me openly about my breach one amongst you made a pointed remark, by which I requested a reason behind the remark, to whit no answer have I justly received, but fellows of the person have apologised and I have accepted. So, I ask may I try again? I am Morgan Desiree Adams and sail under the flag of my Master, we are pryvateers of the inland waterways of the Shires in Great Britain, but we can also be found across the channel in Holland for so…

This was our second issue of The Pyrates Way designed to be a digital issue, allowing it to have many more video links from articles like "Blackbeard's Revenge" in which we link you to actual news footage of the waterspout that ripped through the event. Response continues to be great and as promised, we're including more interactive, web-based features. This The Pyrates Way issue included articles about Howell Davis, Scurvy Awareness, the 2nd Annual Wilmington Pyrates Festival, A Pyrate Party on Virginia Beach, London's Execution Dock, and The Pirates! Band of Misfits movie. The Pyrates Way rum of choice this issue was Calypso Spiced Rum. The Wenches of the Quarter incl…

Like my other ads, I had to order mass quantities to get the correct reproductions for my Teague set. And I have to get rid of some surplus or I cant start on new toys. 23MM dull brass buttons. Very heavy duty and superior quality. My peon account at ebay is loaded, so they will have to be paypal or local business. $1 apiece, free shipping on orders over 10. A coat uses APPROXIMATELY 24, but that changes according to its cut and decorations. Will work with a merchant for a bulk discount also.

No, I do not have a full time ebay store I am spamming for, I put these on there so folks can feel secure in their transactions if necessary, at least those who do not know me around here. If anyone should prefer I can always do locally or else straight Paypal as well. Annnnnyway....in my search for reproductions for my Teague garb I had to custom order the two buckles he wears and of course there was a huge minimum order required. Teague buckles or no, considering that the larger buckles are harder to find and are usually quite pricy, I wanted to offer the fine folks here a chance at some pretty buckles to wear. And anyone with a full time shop, if interested messag…
