Greetings to all, my name is Abdikarim. However, my friends call me "Dik" (pronounced "Deek"). I wanted to say hello to everyone here. I'm an older pirate from the Arizona Ren-Fair days. I have been plundering the southwest for some 30 years. I'm a nurse when not plundering and a retired minister. I can still do marriages or a quick exorcism after a night out pub crawling. My only real claim to fame was that I was one of the suppliers for baldriks and belts for Disney's POTC. The only down side to that is when you work for the mouse you sign a non compete clause that states you cannot sell anything related to POTC under your name.....sigh..... Hi to all, I am a reenactor of 18th century naval and maritime events, and will be moving to Port Lavaca, Texas next month, having just bought a 30 foot (modern) sailboat (soon to be rerigged for training purposes), with intentions of buying and retrofitting an even larger (41 to 50 foot) sailer in 2015. Had a great time at the Pirate's Salty Ball IV last night. Lots of old friends and some new ones. Much rum was consumed, many songs were sung. A hearty Well Done and Huzzah to Captain Thighbiter and the Brigands for a job damn well done. Hawkyns Captayne of the Mermayde.

Sory I've been away so long. I just finished taking the bar exam yesterday, and I was studying for it for about two months. I didn't dare come over here and do anything interesting for fear of getting distracted.
