Good to see Silas Thatcher out at the November woodswalk. I was there but decided not to go out on the woodswalk. Too danged stiff and sore in that cold damp air. Sciatic nerve damage sucks, and life after 50 sucks in general. Maybe I'll see some more of you all in the future, never know where or when I'll turn-up. Bo

You've all probably forgotten me. I started on here during the summer, then school started, and I got quite busy and didn't have much time for piracy. Anyway, just wanted to say hi! FTPI is coming up soon, isn't it? I was planning on coming this year, but stuff got in the way. Well, next year with luck. Take pictures, make me jealous, be safe. ~Amira

You are invited to a Halloween costume party and dress in your pirate kit. Is that "cheating"? I know another pirate, who puts on his kit and goes out to win multiple Halloween costume contests. His kit is about 80% hand made so he really does deserve some accolades. I have heard some call this cheating however and I'm interested in your opinion.

Shello!!! My name is Angel Starfish, and I live on the beaches of San Diego. I’m originally from Atlantis, where my father (the crown prince) and grandfather (King Neptune) were born. I have a human mother who I’m trying to find, which is why I’m on dry land and not living with my family. I enjoy singing, crafts, music, chocolates, writing, riding horses and taking barefooted walks along the beach. I was born with the rare ability to have legs at low tide (when I’m on land) and have a tail at high tide (whether or not I’m in the water). (This may or may not be because I have a human mother). I also have the talent to speak to sea creatures, such as octopi, fish and shar…

It's time for the Secret Gift Exchange! Those of you who've been around know we've coordinated this event for more than five years with a reasonable amount of success and a few of us/you were looking forward to it again this year. If you're not looking forward to it, you can move along, or you can blame your compatriots who are. Or you can just blame me, I like this event. We've had a lot of changes here in the last few months, over the last couple of years we've seen a substantial drop off in Pub usage. Many of us who are still here, have been here for years; as we go through our lives our time in the Pub waxes and wanes. I'm sure you'll all agree that we're thankful …

I'm sure no one here remembers me. I was referred to this board by a friend, and I posted a bit about my crew and the sail boat I lived on at the time, but then I kind of fell off the face of the planet. I was a young man, 19, and my father had just passed away. I inherited some money and spent it foolishly. I partied a lot, and pushed my girlfriend away. When it was gone, much of my crew either stabbed me in the back in some way, or just quietly slunk into the background. Then my girlfriend left me. I moved back in with my mom, my room mates not being able to share their part of the rent, and I went back to school. I blamed my lifestyle choices, partying all the time wi…

Happy to have ran across the Pub. I have been learking for a few days and checking out the posts. Great information! I'm land locked in North Texas, but I have always had a fascination for anything pirate. I am almost certain that I must have been one in a past life. Books, movies, ren fairs,… can’t get enough. My next project is a flintlock pistol kit. Again, very happy to have found this site.

Greetings to all, my name is Abdikarim. However, my friends call me "Dik" (pronounced "Deek"). I am what you call a "true businessman" who unfortunately resides in a poverty stricken area in a small town called Merka a couple hundred kilometers from Somalia. I try to assist my townspeople financially in anyway I can. So, I guess I have been named the modern day "Robin Hood" of my land. I currently own several yachts. My newest addition is a 140' foot yacht called the "Dubbe" and I am in need of some crew members to man the Dubbe and assist me with my business dealings. Unfortunately, some of my original crew had very poor business skills and were arrested for some u…

I wanted to say hello to everyone here. I'm an older pirate from the Arizona Ren-Fair days. I have been plundering the southwest for some 30 years. I'm a nurse when not plundering and a retired minister. I can still do marriages or a quick exorcism after a night out pub crawling. My only real claim to fame was that I was one of the suppliers for baldriks and belts for Disney's POTC. The only down side to that is when you work for the mouse you sign a non compete clause that states you cannot sell anything related to POTC under your name.....sigh..... So as they say, "Fire your leward guns, or nail your colours to the mast." Extra credit if you can guess who made th…

Good Day t' ye All! I'm back. Been away for a bit. Life, as they say, intervened. But now back, with a crew- The Crew of the Mermayde. We're a crew from 1660-1670. Going for the very authentic, living history side of the game. One of Morgan's fleet. we're composed of survivors and exiles of the ECW, supporters of Charles II and looking to take the fight to the Spanish.
