International Talk Like a Pirate Day is September 19th and what better way to celebrate than an arrrsome treasure hunt while taking libations at some of downtown St. Augustine's finest watering holes!
WHAT: Find Captain Storm's treasure! Once again, scalawags abound and have made off with the Captain's loot. Rumor has it that in pirate fashion, these miscreants paid for their rum at each place using stolen gems! We only have a few clues as to the whereabouts, but if you can decipher the clue at each pub, it will lead you to the next one. Teams who correctly solve each clue and have collected all 5 pieces of loot are entered into a drawing for the grand prize basket of local plunder! The best part? This is not a race and is not timed! As long as you make it back to port by 4pm with all five pieces you are eligible to win!
In addtion to the prize basket for those who complete the hunt, everyone will be entered into one of three door prizes! There also just might be additional random prizes for your team of pirates!
If it isn't already obvious, this is a garbed event and your chance to dress up like a pirate for the day! Don't have the proper pirate apparel? Not ye worry, the home port of the hunt is The Pirate Store and Captain Skar has everything you need to look like a proper pirate!
This is a charity event, and all proceeds go to our local St. Augustine charities!

When: Saturday, September 14th
Check in begins at 11:30am, teams set sail at 12:30. Your team must be back by 4:00pm (again this is not timed, you can enjoy your afternoon!) Winners will be announced shortly after once all teams are verified

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
A mobile device (iPhone, Android, etc.) with internet service, capable of scanning QR codes. Each clue will take you to a webpage with the next clue.
