In 1711 the pirates stormed Mobile Bay and attacked the island that was once called Massacre Island, because of a huge pile of human skeletons that was discovered by Pierre LeMoyne.
Come and see the pirates as they pilfer and pillage the Isle of Dauphin and fight against Spanish and British Galleons. Who knows you may even find a pirates treasure!

on Dauphin Island, September 13th thru 15th, 2024
at historic Fort Gaines.
The event will highlight Flintlock Pistol Duels, Pirate Tug-O-War,
Historic displays, Swashbuckling Sword Play, Cannon firing
And a Treasure Hunt for kids ages 12 and under.
