Both days will transport you back to the 16th century, in the age of Queen Elizabeth in England, but on Sunday the emphasis shifts to pirates and vendors will bring out pirate wares and many will dress as pirates.
Pirate Treasure Hunt– On Sunday, youngsters can join in on a “Pirate Treasure Hunt” with maps, clues and of course, treasures to be found. It’s a festival-wide event and everyone is invited to partake.
At Buccaneer Bootcamp kids get balloon swords and learn basic sword work so they can challenge our pirate crew in a sword fight safely and accurately with their cutlass balloons. While in training we also teach them various sailor and pirate terminology so they can sound like an outstanding Pirate! It is included in the price of admission, and kids under 6 years old get in free.
