Landlubbers of all ages are invited to visit the Historic Yorktown waterfront to learn lessons and legends from pirates’ lives in the 17th and 18th centuries at the Pirates Invade Yorktown Weekend.
Riverwalk Landing and the Watermen’s Museum are prepped and ready for a two-day invasion. Enjoy live blacksmith demonstrations, explore a pirate encampment, sing along to sea shanties, take part in a town-wide treasure hunt, and witness exciting cannon demonstrations.
The free, accessible Yorktown Trolley will be running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. during this event.
