Commencing with our Pirate Kick-Off Party on Thursday 7th November, get up close to our pirate crews and ready your sea legs for the days of celebrations ahead. Saturday 9th November brings with it our 5K sea swim and the infamous Pirates Week Food Festival, where every conceivable local flavour is available for you to savour. The firework spectacle over Harbour Drive will thrill the crowds, as a veritable feast of local live bands and entertainers will keep your toes tapping until the early hours. Throw in the colour, energy and plumage of carnival and this becomes the powerhouse of festival evenings and street entertainment.
Whatever your age, whatever your genre, the Pirates Week Festival 2024 has something for everyone tightly packed into these ten days.

What started as a bit of fun at our original Ren Faire of Bandera County, the Black Pirate Market Thanksgiving weekend, became a new annual tradition of Pirates and puppies! We ask our vendors to bring forth their best deals for holiday gift giving and add to the fun with pirate costumes of any era, style, and finesse worthy of a pirate

Join Adventure Sightseeing for a magnificent time at the James Island County Park for Charleston's one and only holiday Festival of Lights! There are over 700 displays and 2 million lights. Beginning November 15nd through December 31st (with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas Days ).
The tour will leave from the Charleston Visitor Center located at 375 Meeting St. at 4:45 p.m.
This tour departs from the Charleston Visitor Center. However, we can offer pick up at downtown hotels via advance reservation.
Please call our office at (843)762-0088 after booking to reserve a pick up time if needed. We can only pick up at hotels located on the peninsula.
Included for your touring pleasure:
• Transportation to and from downtown
• Entry fee to the Festival of Lights
• 1.5 hours in the Winter Wonderland area for shopping. s'mores, pictures with Santa, or pure enjoyment of festivities.
• S'more kit- includes graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate and sticks for roasting!
