 I'm independently poor.

Contrary to popular belief I really do sleep. Usually 6 hours a night between 3am & 9 or 10. I've never been able to get up before 7am. It was killer when I was a kid because school started at 7:30!

Welp I'm calling it an early night. Dragging the little swab off to bed with a movie and maybe I'll actually fall asleep before, err, 3? Or is that being too optimistic?

;) yeah, can't imagine she'd get many movie rolls with the bags under her eyes from a long night.

If it wasn't so sunny today I'd take a nap.

boredom & insomnia are not a very good combination.

Can you tell I'm bored tonight & the little swabs already sleeping. What am I going to do with myself for the next 4 hours?

Nah..I haven't taken a good "flop" since fracturing my ankle 8 years ago.

I have my work cleats. But it's more fun without em!

Fun watching the doggie slide about - have to slow him down.

argh, I knew you'd say that.

Ok, 10 more minutes messing around here then I'm off to draft up the little swabs mantua. I even managed to get her to hold still long enough for the measurements (& not one square of chocolate was used in bribe either!)

ohh, but if I get the pattern done tonight, I can go fabric shopping tomorrow

yep, the quilt shop up the street has both 100% wool flannel & wool felt & they like my "projects" enough to special order anything that they don't already have.

secretly I think the grandmas that run the place just like to talk with my little swab

Dang, the only wool around here would make a Chanel houndstooth check mantua... snigger...

And who wouldn't want to have a little one about to chat with... always the best conversations says I.

*mental note* Engage little swab in conversation with Captain Sterling at Port Washington, not have to worry about both of them for several hours.

Got that right! Hope she likes ice cream! Between Sunfish, and the middies we'll have a grand time of it!

YK, it's seeing the pictures of the kids from the Lockhouse that made her ask me to make her garb so she can come to events. What kind of mom would I be if I didn't ablidge?
