Ironically enough... I had a piratical dream last night... :::: looks at Jack Sparrow::: Crazy enough, you were in it. Haven't a bloody damn clue WHY... but you were there.. and Gibbs. Again, haven't a CLUE why nor what you were doing. But, ye both sure as hell made me laugh like th' devil!

I distinctly remember a lovely island though. No... I was chasin' ya like some lovestruck girl... I'm far from that, laddie.

Now.. WHY Jack graces my dreams more so than Barbossa (which of whom has NEVER been in my dreams)... I shall never understand this paradox.

Has anyone ever dreamed of tv shows where you're part of it and it's actually funny? As if you're wrote a new episode for the show? I've done this twice now. Funny stuff was said, this one was about the show Everybody Loves Raymond. We were all arguing, but in a funny way, about where we would eat for dinner. I haven't watched this show in a long time so not sure how this got in my dream last night. It was funny tho!

i had dreams of being chased for years. I mean through streets and over buildings and on rooftops. Like a hit had been ordered on me and bounty hunters were tyring to make the mark. I was never caught at least I never remember having been life ended if you will. But I remember these dreams to alwasy leave me tired in the morning I would awaken worn out from the evenings dreamstate escapades. If any dream specialist is out there (here) in the pub and knows what this means??? I should say they stopped about Christmas three months ago! I mean a whole new set of nightmares started then, in that ones stead but now I am sleeping like a baby, happy, content and sleeping all the night long.

Touch somebody you don't know today with a smile.

Sounds like a repressed feeling of running from one's past. An undiscovered mistake or misdeed that one feels guilty about, and is fearful of it resurfacing.

Just a guess. :) B)

Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?

Had a most interesting dream last night. Again.

I'll describe as best as possible as it's all rather hard to remember.

I guess as far as I can remember to the earliest stages (again that I can remember)... I was in it.. something was happening, kinda like terrorist type or James Bond-ish type bad guy terror... I was in a strange area I have never been in yet it's a civilian/residential area... I remember being shot at... somehow there was my mother or someone familiar... can't remember.. shot... I got them out as somehow hunted down... I got her out.. escaped... the terrorists were searching.. next thing I knew, it was a warehouse, their HQ or something like that... I was hiding or trying to stay out of their sight but stay there.... I was searching for my cat now I guess.. maybe not, who knows... but it twisted a little more as it all went on... I eventually was caught I guess or not seen as a threat to the point I was able to carefully move about but yet still secretly... in mild avoidance of someone or a couple people I was going up and down rows or aisles... warehouse aisles I guess or I don't know how to describe them... but next thing I knew... I was ok in the eyes of the head guy... which oddly enough was a Pirate captain! Wicked looking and rather handsome... kinda a mixture of Blackbeard and Roberts. James Bond-ish type surroundings with the bad guy look but piratical... there were several women there with this pirate captain mob boss whatever he was... I guess I was going to try my best to cozy up to him for some reason I don't kow... I guess to learn some secrets perhaps or to save my neck.. maybe become his most trusted and 2nd in command...

It's all rather foggy... but the image of the "pirate captain" bad guy I can't get out of my head. Nor do I want to!

Didn't quite had a dream like that but I had a dream several months ago involving some friends. Basically it was like watching a movie unfold - I wasn't in it, but I felt like I was in a theater or floating over what was going on...

Last night's dreams were influenced by my trip out to Escondido faire with some close friends. Very Dark Age-ish. But interesting none-the-less. For the second time that I can ever remember I wasn't involved in them at all.

  • 2 weeks later...

I had this dream and woke up from it not that long ago, it's put me in a odd mood. The dream was with my guy and another friend of ours. It started off all normal. The 3 of us were getting ready in his house for some party. It then switched to this huge house for the party, nothing too bizarre going on there. At one point they were doing karoke, I remember some girl wanting to sing "Part of your world" from Little Mermaid. I leaned to both my guy and my friend and quietly just mentioned how I had sang this in choir, it's a fun song. The girl then had trouble singing and had to stop, so for awhile everyone just sat there til someone else decided to sing next. My friend leaned closer to us and had said how sorry she was to hear about Spooky's death. Spooky is a little all white kitten, almost a year old in July. He's my guy's kitty, I just love that little guy. I stopped her before she said anymore, "wait, what? what happened to Spooky? What's going on!?" They gave me that sad look. I screamed out NO! And fell to the floor, trying to crawl away, I was crying so hard! My guy tried to console me, but I couldn't stop crying. He said how Spooks kept throwing up, had some type of stomach bug that hit him so hard. He just kept get weaker and weaker, no matter what was tried to help him, in the end he passed away.

I woke up not too long after, just in this funky mood. Poor Spooky, I hope it's just a bad dream. :D

I hope it's just one of those "latent fear" dreams - you hear or read about something terrible, and it sneaks into your subconscious mind and pops up in a dream. I'm a big softie, and don't even want to think about losing one of my fur babies.

I had the wierdest dream last night, and I couldn't wake out of it. It had to do with someone or some thing trying to recondition/re-educate/brainwash me into doing horrific, inhuman things. They'd managed to corrupt all my music and videos, regardless of format, with subliminal reprogramming. And it was effecting everyone I know. It was so vivid, I woke up questioning whether or not my thoughts were my own.

Fortunately, I'm still my off-kilter, off-coloured, politically incorrect, goofball self. :P:lol::huh:B)

Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?

Whoa, how creepy about your brainwashing dream!  And dreams are always much more creepier when they're so vivid and detailed.  Could you see at all who or what was doing the brainwashing?

I could see whatever it was (an ancient, evil thing). I can even recall the colour and texture of it's skin, and some of the things it was trying to compel me to do. I can even remember the feelings I experienced as I recognised and fought the subliminal reprogramming. I hate dreams like this one! B)

I talk in my sleep during my dreams.According to my wife.Who often relays some of the things I say while I am asleep. Most of the accounts she gives I'm usually cursing at people then other times I'm playing with my daughter in some way.Sleep usually doesn't come easy to me unless I have a beer before bed or I use some other kind of sleep aid.Does anyone else have that problem?

I asked my doctor about the problem I have going right to sleep and he said stress causes it most of the time. The thing is I don't stress over things.

It differs, sometimes i dream and remember them but they're usually really weird LOL..

I used to have dreamless sleep from which i would wake up crossing my arms in defence and see something "black" above me..and shake all over from fear for a time and at some point i saw the "black" by the door of my bedroom and then it was over.

Last Saturday night i freaked out feeling a 'weight" on my bed..or imagining it and i was pretty spooked, after finally falling asleep i woke up sitting up straight in my bed shaking all over so i am kinda worried i'm going back to the scary stuff but i have been ok since..

I have never had a dream about people i like or something LOL..i wish

Ah you'll find the right person one day I reckon.Nothing wrong with having a few good dreams now and again.Good thing about me thus far is all my dreams have been tolerable.I haven't been slapped by the Ol'lady all these years for having any that didn't have her in them.
