Thinking back on what a brilliant day I had today. I just began work as a fifth grade TA and you should have seen the kids' faces when I got to tell them I not only do Living History, but I get to play pirates! It was perfect! Then I proceeded to take a nose dive on the play ground in front of all of them and thought, geeze I might as well go home now and never come back. Instead they all came running over to help and once I was on my feet again, another teacher came over and said "That was amazing! I have never even seen them help each other. You must have made quite an impression on them to have them worry about you so much to come and help. They really like you."

Well, not every day you get a pirate for your new teacher....;) Now to just stay on my feet... duh... ;);)

Laughing completely charmed by the kids reaction to Stirling...how coyld they help it? Life through a childs eyes can just make so much sense when not soaked through with the rediculousness of mature thinking..

A toast to you Pirate Sir! Duh moments and all....

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help....

Her reputation was her livelihood.

I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice!

My inner voice sometimes has an accent!

My wont? A delicious rip in time...

Sitting here crying like a baby because my dog is dying. I have to make the decision to try & keep him alive for marginally longer or to put him down. Can't someone else make that choice for me. I don't think I can.

CrazyCholeBlack - So sorry to hear about your doggie...that is a decision I know too well (felines).

I'm finishing up on a logo design for a friend of a friend's company. Once I've done that it'll be time to work out, and then watch a dvd featurette on Labyrinth.

Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@

wandering around the net playing with my myspace account. been noticing a lot of things in common with a lot of you folk in my extended network. it's truly amazing - have the same friends on board, including some of the same groups like empty hats. this space is addicting. other than that i'm biding my time waiting for my friend to get home, log on and ask how my day was.

Eating lunch (at work), and surfing the net for software on how to make videos on ones computer (I'm making a short clip, and need to cut down on the video I took and add a little caption at the end). Found alot of info so far, including faq's on movie editor software that should come standard on my laptop (Windows shtuff).

Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@
