Bo... you are evil! I am jealous. :) Ye look beyond splendid, Bo! Bravo! Halloween, hmm? Lemme guess... Headless Horseman? :)

Pegleg... ye look fantastic! Ye definitely are the spitting image of Long John Silver! Huzzah! :::: worship::: Ye make Pirate look very good. ;)

Bo would make a fine Hessian galloping up the Albany Post Road. He'd do Washington Irving proud I'm sure. ^_^

Pegleg... kit is great!

After some major disappointment by several garment makers my kit is coming along. (Thanks to Amanda at JPSoule)

Sleeved weskit gets picked up at the tailor tomorrow after some alterations and a sleeveless weskit is on its way along with a spare set of slops.

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

On behalf of the crewe, thank ye.

Mike, I added some photos in for you.

To do that (if you're using a PC),

1. Right-click with your mouse over the photo on the other website.

2. Select 'Copy Image Location' from the pop-up menu list.

3. Come over to the Pub and put your cursor in the reply box of the topic.

4. Select the photo icon (which looks like a Polaroid snapshot with blue, green and orange blobs in it)

5. In the Image Properties pop-up window, right-click in the URL box.

6. Select 'Paste' from the pop-up menu list.

7. Click the OK button and Viola! (Hopefully.)

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

William...a friend of mine who is a fantastic woodworker & cabinetmaker did the woodwork..another friend's wife who repairs saddles did the leather..I had our plasma torch guy at work cut me a piece of 3/8" round plate to attach an old prostic socket I had leftover from my first leg that I used to attach it all with.. Can walk allmost as well with it as my regular leg...just cannot bend the knee with the peg...Oh yeah it's made out of ash wood..like baseball bats

Seconded.

I've been researching so many words of late that I thought I'd look up prosthetic.

prosthesis (ˈprɒsθɪsɪs, prɒsˈθiːsɪs)— n , pl -ses

1. surgery a. the replacement of a missing bodily part with an artificial substitute b. an artificial part such as a limb, eye, or tooth

2. linguistics another word for prothesis

[C16: via Late Latin from Greek: an addition, from prostithenai to add, from pros- towards + tithenai to place]

1545–55; < Late Latin < Greek prósthesis a putting to, addition, equivalent to prós to + thésis a placing; see thesis
