Good lads! Tis warmin to a woman's heart t'see y'both well! As you see Mr.Pew, the captain is never far from the "Kate" even if it is only close in his heart.

Captain, I have a well fed chicken that is no longer laying. I was going to serve her this evening at the Hyde but with such company as I have here I will have it brought to the fire here for those who care to join us if it pleases you.

Excellent.

Fine conversation I have not had in awhile. I'd like to see him. If you don't mind, I'd like to raid the stores for some vintage of non-descript liquor.

Much to talk about in the last months.

I turn away from the door "Cookie!". Shortly after I return with a few of the kitchen staff from the Hyde who set about preparing food for the small group gathered at the Kate. "William, you should hire someone to at least dust the place. I have a girl that is quite good and always looking for work." ;)

Dust is a clock. We keep no other time in the Kate, but by dust and dirty plates. Now fetch a lamp and let us go into the holds and see what strange, distilled drinks are hiding in the corners among the stores.

Captain, those 'strange, distilled drinks' are what keeps me locked to this haunt.

Leave the dust, the settled ages. We shall imbibe for those long lost. I miss them so.

Beg? Never beg lad, besides William is a kind soul, he is more than happy to give away his very best...just do not be shouting that from the roof tops. **props feet upon the table top**...my word but life is dull, perhaps a change is due....

Goode Captain Sterling perhaps it is good that your life is dull for a moment. Perhaps you should take said dull moment for yourself and heal thine ills.

William, wot better to make good drink better than good conversation? What topic should we discuss?

Hmmm ...I am missing Williams image again. I need to check my settings.

oh gad... good conversation? What happened to a good fight? A decent battle? a little action? People are getting far too genteel, all they bloody well want to do is sit around and talk...Algiers was more riveting...

**and no image on these antique fossils at school either

Algiers? Indeed. As to myself becoming too genteel, need I remind you Captain that I must comport myself as a lady but if you wish you and the other rabble here feel free to brawl, tis nay my establishment. What say ye William?

After a day of bashing the lads, a good quiet repose is in order. William runs a fine genteel establishment.

Rum anyone? I found a fine vintage perfect for sipping.

Or of course, a large tankard of 'what's out back.'

How to make the place more lively...hmmm...I could hide some assassins in a cupboard. I could pass out free drinks and cudgels at closing for a last man standing contest. Losers pay the tab. I could release monkeys. Starving, diseased monkeys.
