she looking to be a fair gust. i'm on higher ground then i was for isabel, then i sent three days without sleep pumping the lafayette river out of my basement by hand with a sail boat bilge pump until the power came back and the sump came on line.

Woke up this morning to 9" of rainfall, trees down, and the loss of a fence. Water over the roads and boats floating in the marshes. Interesting way to end a week between the earthquake, hurricane, and tornadoes.

Just waiting on the plague of locusts.

I've been informed by a friend that the locusts have been canceled for this year and replaced by stink bugs *G*
