Tartan Jack Posted June 8, 2011 Share Posted June 8, 2011 Whether Scotland is viable as an independent or semi-independent nation depends ENTIRELY on what happen with the North Sea oil fields. If Scotland gets ALL of it, and the tax revenues, then it is theoretically financially stable. If not, then it is much, much harder for them. As much as part if me likes the idea of an independent Scotland, I'm not really sure how good of an idea it is in reality.
