Stynky Tudor Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 I just spent the better part of today clearing out the various systems cache, deleting orphaned files, recompiling data tables and rummaging around the Pub's guts looking for a reason why the notice function hasn't been working. Oi another thing Stynky.... um only on the work computer... but the google add box on the sign in page and messenger area... Doubles...so there are two appearing and the second one drops down and covers the sign in area or the top row of messages so that you cannot click on the space to sign in or you can not click on the top message to open it, instead you end up clicking on the damn add which then redirects you to that instead of what you want... since this doesn't happen at home...any ideas what needs to be fixed on the work laptop?? Alright, from what I can tell, they seem to have been changing the systems software architecture while I was asleep at me post - I apologize for not paying closer attention and being out of touch. Anyway to help remedy the situation. . . In the top right hand corner, click on your user name ( once you've logged in of course ) and select My Profile from the resulting pulldown menu. This should take you to your profile page. From your profile page, select the Edit my Profile button near the top right – just under the Google advertisement. You should now be in the My Settings portion of your profile. On the left hand side, near the bottom – select the Notification Options tab. From there you should be able to set the if and how you would like to be notified. END ----------------------------------------------------------------- If this doesn't remedy your situation, I'm sorry to say you may need to go back and re-establish a connection with those forums/topics - by clicking on the Follow this topic button near the top of the page.
