All in all it's a great kit for representing a common seaman of the late 17th or early 18th century and at a whopping 14.1 pounds it's not to heavy to sling on your back

When I saw this at the fort I thought it was awesome. This post with all the pictures confirms it.

Jollyjacktar -

Splendid kit. Look as if a lot of time and effort went into its creation.

Well done... as always!

"I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers

Wow, Awesome!

I'll eat when I'm hungry. I'll drink when I'm dry. If the hard times don't kill me I'll lay down and die.

Rye whiskey! Rye whiskey! Rye whiskey I cry. If you don't give me rye whiskey, I surely will die.
