pirate themed restaurants?

I might be a bit dense, but I am curious as to know if there are any pirate themed restaurants around, good or otherwise.

I know of two. The best is the Queen Anne's Revenge in Charleston, SC. It has a Blackbeard theme. The restaurant has a number of real antiques from the GAoP and lots of reproductions. Every table has some sort of reproduction. The walls are covered with Howard Pyle paintings. There is also a pirate-themed bar in downtown Charleston.

We went to another one somewhere in North Carolina. It is visible from I-77 and I think it is north of Charlotte but it didn't seem to be near anything. It is decorated with pirate figures and nautical props. It was also inexpensive.

"The Buccaneer" in downtown Charleston is the sister restaurant of the "Queen Anne's Revenge". I met one of the owners the last time I was there and he loves us!

There's "The Pirate's Landing" down in Port Isabel, TX. Never been there but I hear it is an excellent stop if you're ever down that way. They have a "pirate ship" that will take you on a dinner cruise at sunset.

You can check out http://apiraterestaurant.com/index.html for the beginnings of a list and some reviews.

Aye, Here in St Augustine we have Hurricane Patties. She be a pub/restaurant. It sits on the water and looks like the inside of a ship or a seaside tavern of the time. With Pirate statues, cannons, rope rigging and such. Yea can sit on the dock and watch the ships pass by. Food is good, Rum is better.cool.gif

The Pirate House Georgia

I forgot about that one, even though I've eaten there a couple of times. It incorporates the oldest brick structure in Savannah. They claim to have a different ghost haunting each room including Captain Flint (that was his treasure in Treasure Island - I'm not sure how a fictional character can haunt a restaurant). The food is good but it is expensive.

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

Peg Leg Pete's is right off the beach in Pensacola Fl. Great seafood and the house drink ,The Shipwreck is outstanding. Pirate Theme throughout with a playground for the kids and a bar for the adults.

There's the Jolly Roger in Ocracoke. Not so much a pirate theme since there is no inside to decorate. Just a covered kitchen and 10 tables next to the dock with about ten slips for ships. Only place I know of that has "sail thru" service. There's one small pirate sloop that docks there from time to time. Great food too.
