Geeze...even I could have seen that coming.... but then I have also seen that mess Maddogge calls a hammock... slovenly, slovenly....

Is that what got Red Jessi then? I shudder to think what the folks in Blue Heaven though of me bringing her in with what looked like a black eye. (Especially being dressed like a pirate.) Although several still wanted photos, so it must not have been that bad.

Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?"

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

If those are indeed the critters that tagged you, then they really hurt. I've been stung several times and it sucks. How many of those did you guys see down there.

thats the thing...noooone saw the damn things...i was woken outta a drunken stupour...errr..ahem...a very deep sleep....4 am..ish.....severe burning sensation to my neck and clavicle area...swelled up like a son of a gun....acted like a severe burn...skin turned dark brown...and now a week later...finally fluffed off...leaving a scar and new skin underneath....

several people woke up to em....various locations....but seemed like i might have gotten the worst of em

and just so ya know ...Callenish...i never even made it to Duval street(either end).....

tho Mr. Cross did have a habit of sneaking into my Lean-to in the wee hours of the night....

Rangers at the Fort said...was either a spider...fluffy catipillar...or scorpian....so i am tellin everyone scorpian....sounds better to be throttled by a scorpian...than half eaten by a fluffy catipillar...

Well, scorpions don't leave such a mark and are unlikely to show up in such numbers. Catepillars, however, do show up in groups. I once rubbed up against one of the saddlebacks on my arm, wrist to elbow, and thought that I had run up against a hot ember, unlikely while just walking through the woods. Welts, scabs and sloughing about a week later. Sounds like the critter, but visual evidence is better. Photos, anyone?

You're not the critter I want pictures of! Stupid Mad Dogge. (I noticed people keep saying that a lot. Why is that? Fall off a gate again this year?)
