Shay Sansanee and Myself are based here in Key Largo and are trying to pull together information about the festival. The 2 websites found are:

http://www.keylargopiratefestival.com/ -not being advertised on the radio

http://www.keylargopiratesfest.com/

As many of us who live here can't afford the parties that are "sponsored" and remember how things fell apart last year due to the prices (most locals dont want to pay $5 for a beer when they know they can drink in their favorite place up the street for $1 or $2 instead). We were thinking of a pirate bash here at our house (on the water)sort of a pre PiP get together after the parade on Friday night.

Anybody who has any plans or is thinking of planning on being here please post your plans

If Saturday works better Saturday is fine

At the Bayside event we'll have some wine and period rum punch stashed as always, should we want to go on account there and pillage the stash we have to save coin. We're also all on the cheap...

We could also do Friday if that works better for everyone...

What a blast the Bayside part of the festival was. We must have had 100 kids throughout the day and all the parents stayed until the end. We played so many games I can't even begin to remember them all.

Thanks to all the crewe and particularly Shay and VintageSailor for the cannon and gunfire.
