HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY FOR USA

It's the first.

A bit early? :angry:

BUT, on this day, 1 July in 1782, the 1746 act banning the wearing of tartan clothing and belted plaid was repealed. It was part of the 1746 Act of Proscription, following the last Jacobite Rebellion. :angry:

On July 4th, I'll celebrate the passage and signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, when the American Colonies went "renegade" . . . :angry:

This is our 4th of July. Mannie here will be enduring several rounds of 62 caliber lead this weekend. We will post shots of him after we blast him into oblivion (but not the hat Stynky sent to Diosa, which he is wearing).

WoW...that was pretty good lol

So what does everyone have planned for this upcoming 4th?

I know I am plannign on having a mini event with me crew...PC encampment...with some modern day fun thrown in...like fireworks...although i am hoping that we should have some black powder going off as well!! Its almost like a test run for the lockhouse nextweekend...should be fun :angry:

As Kian said, we are having a mini encampment at someone's house... And celebrating me and hubby's 2 year anniversary! (yes, ironic I know... to be married on Independence day!)

Im laid up but hope to be on my feet and hobbling around by the fourth. Ive got a couple charges rolled and plan on rolling quite a few more. I plan on taking my cannon out and making some noise, if Im on land maybe I can convince my buddy who has the same piece to join me. Both are little bronze guns using the Viceroy's pattern with a 1 inch bore and make a nice bang.

Gosh, I'm doing something so mundane...

Pot luck BBQ at a friend's house, who lives on the Rogue River, probably some swimming in their pool, maybe a mad game of water volley ball, and fireworks. We also stand on their terrace, wine glasses in hand, and wave at the jet boat tours as they go by. Very funny to have 45 people in a big jet boat waving back at you as they whiz down the river. :lol:

This is a benefit for Browns Canyon in Chatsworth CA. It is at the top of Desoto Ave and was heavily damaged by the Season Fire. Celebrate & experience the days of yore when, Swashbucklers, Rogues, & Pirates sailed The Seven Seas & roamed the world in search of Treasure & Grand Adventure. A Brand new Pirate Fest Located in the San Fernando Valley in Browns Creek Park.

SLIGHT ADDRESS CHANGE: New Address is 10897 Old Santa Susana Rd., Chatsworth, CA 91311. Take the 118 Fwy., off ramp exit is Topanga Canyon (NOT De Soto). Follow the signs.

We did the parade today In Mira Mesa San Diego Ca.. The Klingons and the Pirates..Eye were pulling along the mermaids.

Red Bess & I had one of the best Fourths that we've ever had. Nothing special - unless perfect weather, great food and watching the sky above one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes erupt in fireworks, with powder smoke swirling across the water, almost driving away the mosquitos - counts as something special. In my book, it certainly does! We are at RB's mother's place, our peaceful and beautiful home away from home.

Hope everyone had as perfect a holiday as we did!

As promised, here's there results of our 4th of July. Mannie took about a dozen shots of lead from the crewe. Scary to think what these things would do against a real person. Mannie didn't look so good after eating that much lead.
