So today I get an envelope from an old friend. He had found an old receipt for the sound system I had bought for the band I was in at the time. But recently I had sent him some tracks of the pirate/sea song stuff I had been doing. Inside the mailer envelope was a wrapped present. Inside the paper I found this..

This edition was published in 1920. There are two more editions after it. Here is a page from inside

Yea sorry I just noticed the pictures had gotten cropped.

The bottom of the cover says James Brown & Son, Glasgow

the title page says Collected by W.B.Whall, Master Mariner

Glasgow: James Brown & So, Publishers, 52-58 Darnley Street 1920

The book contains around 40 tunes and several pictures of various ships, mostly drawing and painting repro's.
