This little beauty is 95 layers of 15N20 and 4130. The blade is one hard little cutter. I don't have an exact weight on it right now, but I would say it is right around the 2lbs mark if not under. It feels ultra light in the hand. We used cocobolo again for the handle. She doesn't have a home yet. We made her just for fun. I was thinking about doing a cutting demo with it, but I havn't had the time.

OAL : 26 3/4"

Blade Length : 20"

I have the sword in hand so I can get more stats if you like.

It's not too bad. $1,850.

This is the 2nd in damascus boarding cutlass in a line that we hope to have at least a dozen for next year. The first was a cable cutlass that was featured in the fall issue of Pirates Magazine. The next one I want to do is either going to be a multi bar twist or a feather pattern blade.

Dude, I don't mind sharing my process at all. I will would be happy to start another step-by-step thread.

I do have a few tutorials on my website of doing some damascus swords from start to finish and I plan on adding a ton more tutorials soon. Some makers dont like to share anything. I for one believe that if you educate your customer on your methods that everyone benifits.

Here is a link to a few tutorials. http://www.baltimoreknife.com/tutorials.htm

I have been asked to do a hanger so maybe I will do a step-by-step on one soon.
