Greetings,

Checked the site(s) and was sad to see that they're no longer being kept up. Does this mean that a lonely pyrate be stuck all by his lonesome? Or does the Fools Gold have something up their sleeve to share with a Minnesotan matey?

I've tried to update the site, but I dont have the program that I used to make the site at the beginning. I can try to fix it, but my laptop doesnt like website fixes! I might try to get to Macs Pub this year in the Fall tho.

Mostly independent with F and I and Rev, belong to the Trappers Of Starved Rock though, a local shooting/rendezvous group. As far as level of involvement, I can do Fictional easy enough, but prefer history as it was. I do however try to avoid "stich nazis" telling me I cant wear a specific item because I didnt use a "historical" ie purchased pattern. (From a shirt I made of linen and hand stitched, but was told there was no documentation. I had fabric and thread, made a shirt, dont need documentation!)

Love Ft. de Chartres (or Cavendish post 1765)...try to get there as often as I can.......

greetings! I will try to get on the pub more often, have been busy with the one full time and 2 part time jobs I have!

While we dont currently have too many crew in MO, we might be getting more next year. I am traveling to OK a bit this year, and hope to meet up with Bo and a few others in the summer.

My daughter will be getting married in TX this May, and I might be able to pull off a day to meet new members! Was at KCRF on last weekend, and had a blast! Non-traditional all the way, but the Jolly Rogers rocked and the pirate shows were the best. Combat chess was amazing in its silliness.

anyhoo, give me a jingle or meet me on facebook, fools gold pirates or Melissa A.

cheers!

Well M'lady, I'm gettin out of the pyrate gig, economics 101, can't afford to play at all these hobbies, and once I start teaching, the first two years are gonna be hell learnin the ropes. add to that the repairs I need to make on the abode that are in neglect, it'll take all my new revenue for about three years to get the place back in decent shape. Gonna concentrate on these horses that are just burnin hay, as my leg finally is in good enough shape I can ride several hours at a stretch, (good news for a change!)

We won't be havin no internet anytime soon either, and I don't do FB, sorry. Too much schoolwork, and I only pop in here between classes on campus these days.

Still have the same land-line number though, just no long distance for the now. let me know the times yer headed down, still like ta see ya sometime! best to ya!

Bo

I know a few of the rens that go to the St Louis area fests and a few of the pirates too. I also have sailed a fest or two with some from the KS area. I might be able to do a few fests in MO and KS this year, but time and money will tell. I'm on Facebook -mostly- and myspace once in a while.

Look me up and say ahoy!

More shows to announce for 2013- its going to be a limited season since my David is going to summer school, but we are hoping to catch Clear Lake, IA in October, Bellevue, NE in August, Dubuque IA in May, Amana IA Memorial weekend, and a possible hit or miss on some other faires like KCRF or MNRF. Some of these are pirate themed like Clear Lake, others are more ren, like Amana. If you find yourself in the area, give us a hellooo and maybe we can share a cuppa of tae.

Til then, may you find more blessings than troubles.

Jib, that is true, and don't we look grand! I was hoping to do the fest but its the same time as another faire that is only an hour away. So, far, its won. We're letting PWF use our pics as long as they credit us. If you see something I need to look at, let me know, but they seem like a good group. I believe its the skindiving group from Port Wash that took it over.

If things change and we come ashore, I hope some of our friends look us up at the fest.
