We have been in design mode the last few weeks. What do you all think? All of these sold the first day that they were available at a festival.

Thank you sir. We used to make 3 standard cutlass blades all at 28" long. The last 2 years we have had tons of requests to make shorter cutlasses more like a boarding cutlass and now we make more shorties at 21-24" then we do the full length. I prefer a short blade for both use on stage and for costume wear. Long blades always get in the way.

Here are a few more designs. These both have bronze skulls that we cast.

Most of these pictured here are for pirate re-enactors so they have an aged finish. We also offer all of these polished.

Okay guys, now don't be jealous, but here is my husband, Chain Shot, with his new Bootstrap sword, which he purchased at Ojai last month. He loves it, but still needs a scabbard.

Matt,

These new designs are sweet!

I love this hilt!

Would you mind snapping a few more angled pictures of the bronze skull sword pommel?

Stynky - I have this cutlass, but with more of a 'cut-toe" blade then a cutlass type. The pommel and guard are even better lookin in person and with the thinner blade , its sneaky fast.

The cutlass is made by Windlass sword makers, and I bough it from a vendor at Ojai two years ago. You can google Windlass Swords and learn a bit about them. Also, Red-Handed Jill has one just like mine, but I don't know where she got it.

Matt, you got my attention with that first skull one. How much without a skull? Love the guard on that, just don't need a skullybone. Seriously interested in knowing more about this.

Bo

Thats the guard I have and I love it. mine doesn't have a skull either. I've quit polishing the guard and it its developed a nice patina. I love that its kind of rough cut yet so intricate there are little hearts in it. thats why I fell in love with it.
