Boats and I went to the Valley View Casino last night for their all you can eat lobster buffet.........food was very good (also very expensive!), but the lobsters were the small kind and you only got half at a time. Course we had to wait 2 1/2 hours in line.....waiting in the casino where smoking IS allowed.........YUCKY! I don't think we'll be going back there for quite some time even if it is only 15 minutes away. I almost had the biggest catch out at the Oceanside pier yesterday....used some squid, got hooked on a very big - well over 20 pounds - sort of grayish, green with yellow fins......don't know what kind of fish it was, but sadly there were so many fishing lines in the water, my line got all tangled up with some others and the fish got away. Bummer! Didn't catch anything else. Next time I go to the pier, I'll go on a weekday when there's less likely to be a ton of people on the pier.
