There was a fine maker of hand rolled clay pipes along the coast up on the Maritimes of Nova Scotia called Olde World Clay Pipes. I don't know if he's still in business, but his selection was phenomenal, and he was very knowledgeable. I'm including a dated article from him with contact information at the bottom of the page. His articles are priceless for information though. The short and long of it as to wering the pipe in your hat is least this potter has not come across refernce to it historically. Most were made to fit in pockets or ditty bags. the long stemmed pipes seem recerverd for home or pub use. jus me twa pence.
