Now wait just a minute. She signed the Mercury articles! (If only we had a captain to defend the Mercury's rights...)

And nay, she did NOT sign any Mercury articles, if there even are any.... besides what are articles only a piece of paper... now where is that lit cigar of mine!

 The Captain is correct. I signed no articles that I can remember. Or perhaps the rum made me do it. Either way, I have the cigars Captain. ;)

That's my girl!! ;););)

Every Mercury crew member would have signed the article, no one could be missed on a proper pirate ship...no one, except, by coincidence, me. [/Lee Marvin]. (Surgeon's were rarely made to sign the pirate articles.)

(For a really interesting account of how hard it was to avoid signing a pirate ship's articles even when forced to be a pirate, read Philip Ashton's A History of the Strange Adventures and Signal Deliverances of Mr. Philip Ashton Jun. of Marblehead.)

aye, i'm back and well rested from three weekends of rowing. well two rowing- yes i do that- and one as coxwaine. i'm taking this weekend off, i've dropped eight pounds this month.

yeah, i have not heard much from edward either, hope he did not take things personal.

so how goes it in your world? did you attend port washington last weekend?

Duchie,

Yes I have been keeping a low profile, seemed to be in the best interest of all involved. I thought we had agreed that it would be best if we never spoke those events again. That being said, I cant wait till next year.

We have already begun our plans for PIP this year and we will be back to Hampton next year with additional stock and a wider selection of goodies.

Also for those so inclined we will accept work on consignment for the events for those who feel so inclined as to try to balance the expense of the travel with the sale of high quality period work. You set the price and give us enough background that we will be able to market your wares for you. We don't want nor will accept a cut for your items!!!

What's good for one pyrate is good for all!

what happens at blackbeard stays at blackbeard. so i guess well just have to wait till next year to settle the discussion.

I thought we had all agreed that it would be in the best interest of all involved however tangentially, that certain events should never be spoken of again.
