Hampton Blackbeard Pirate Festival '08

You used the word trust on a pyracy forum. That's akin to using the words sober or virtuous. Very out of place here. Still, characters notwithstanding, I trust a great number of people on the Pub portraying whatever role they may.

Lesson for today...

Pyrates = untrustworthy

Pyrate Hunters = guaranteed to get the job done. Hell, when we do a hanging, we always hang someone, even if its me! :rolleyes:

Just an FYI. The Kalmar Nykel will not be at Hampton but they will be in Yorktown about 20 minuets away. This is something worth doing if you are so inclined. If you want the schedule check it out on Kalamar Nykel Tour Schedule

AH HA! They finally added it although Friday AM is just for free tours. I believe Sterling and a few of the Arch Angel crew may be interested then but the remainder of the time conflicts with Blackbeard ...you know where I'll be ...HAMPTON!

now ya see cap'n. thats the difference between mountain and coastal noseeums. ours are used to the summer humidity and taking siestas mid day. now your mountain bred uns are used to working themselves silly and don't know how to take breaks.

Aye, we're basically done making preparations to sail. The crew are all stowing their gear, and we'll be sailing at dawn, on a low tide. After sounding our wayout of Gallant's channel, it'll be a hard push to the Pungo River for the first night...Hampton here we come!!

We are definitely coming and will be in Hampton on Friday, although we are not planning on attending the ball. We would love to hang out or help out when needed over the weekend. Just let me know.

Also, does anyone know if there are any sailing trips-similar to key west, where we can buy passenger space?

Yes, a few short days, and The Brigands be setting sail south for the water round Hampton. What be in store for ye miscreants this year?

We are joined by a new member of The Brigands, Kevin McQueen, the only surviving member of the Irish Navy. Kevin comes to us with a wealth of the bawdy, a great singing voice and not an ounce of shame in using both.

Plus, the rumors that The Brigands hae lost a member, Mr Marley, are unfounded. We are flying the first mate of Hellion up from the swamps of FLorida to play for ye! Frankly, the new line up was hot enough to blow the manhole covers offn the street , at the Baltimore Invasion, and we expect to make similar impression on you lot in Hampton.

ANd we are in the process of converting the new van ( remember our old blue one - the only coal fired Chevy in eistence) into a proper vessel. New planking on her sides, 22" ships wheel to steer by, and hopefully, new quarterbaord, new shrouds and mizzen mast, a lovely figurehead and 4 of a side gunports. AND! it does not smoke a whiff at all.

Pirate music at it's best, from 1650 onwards

cap'n- i might suggest just dragging a chicken leg or ham bone behind the land yacht, they will follow along. they tend to scream alot when strapped to the roof. something about bug guts at 70 mph.......

thighbiter, glad to hear all will be in attendance and looking forward to a bit of

of bawdy entertainment.
