Allright, you have my attention. So what if a damnded ol' dumbass hillbilly from Missourah shows up in Virginny in time fer the Hampton Blackbeard Fest? Maybe with a crew of powder monkeys, a seamna in training and the "Quartermaster" of our "ship" Blondie?

I have scrapped plans for Gettysburg this year, lookin' fer somethin else to do I haven't done before.

The Blackbeard Festival in Hampton is running an ad in the Winter Pyrates Way magazine (which is at press at the moment and due out to folks in Mid-January). . . the dates on the ad are 30-31 May + June 1.

We always attend the festival and cover it in the pages of The Pyrates Way that follows the event. So please come out to the festival and drop by our booth to say hi. . . and ye never know. . . ye might just find your very own image in print some time!

Sounds like a cunning plan there Bo... I will keep you posted as, if all goes well, you can certainly camp with us...

ahoy all, pardon the invasion. I have not heard anything yet but to answer one question, yes there is a big firepit. Its a common cook area as all the crews use it to keep from destroying the grounds and the chantey sing is done here. One game the crew cooks play amongst themselves is the sand challenge. No one cares what the food tastes like, you are scored on the ammount of sand that does NOT end up in the pot through the weekend!!!!

My crewe and I will be there yet again this coming year ....The Vagabond Armoury will again be set at the head of the encampment near the street! This year I swear we'll be there in time for the Pyrates Ball ....last year's ball was impressive but alas we arrived when it was half over and still had to set our camp/sutlery.
