Sure I put a fully functional Jolly Roger on the wall. Well it's actually been up there for 3 years but who's counting...

I saw a large tall ship outline in white lights at a Norwich, CT marina last night. Unfortunately, with all the snow, it was difficult to stop and get a picture. It was really cool, though.

She was bigger and faster when under full sail

Well now, I've got lots of goodies I could hang on a tree that would make it very piratical, as I supply a lot of props to PRP for the encampment.

However.....I don't get a tree....I have the most dangerous, chew-happy, frolicking cats, who wouldn't think twice about not only de-nuding a tree, but tearing it down too! :D

Ah, but the wee kitties are minus their furniture tearing apparatus. However that doesn't stop the Cat Gang from their nightly (and daily) destruction of 'what can we get into next' forays, that with any good aim getting shot with the squirt bottle of water to their dasdardly deeds, would hopefully stop a full on assult.

The furry one maybe nautghy sometimes but you can't cuddle with a snake at night in bed. At least I wouldn't want to! :)

Maybe you have not cuddled with the right pirate in bed yet...

RumbaRue:

Me sister had the same problem with her felines "boarding" the Christmas tree. She finally put an eye bolt into the wall and ran wire from the eye bolt, around the tree, and back to the eye bolt. It be keepin' the tree in place when the varmits launch their assualt.

Fer my feline crew, I just keep me valuable ornaments off the lower branches. Of course these days I hafta convince me 4-year old cabin boy that me **very expensive and collectible** Star Wars ornaments are NOT figurines and ships to play with!

Captain, we always knew you were a whoopsie.

Rumors of my death are entirely premature.
