They are addictive - but I have to be careful or there's no sleep for me... There are also chocolates that have the coffee incorporated into them and are shaped like slightly larger coffee beans; they're called Mocha Beans. They are SO good. I knew someone that liked the smell of French Frys (or should I call them Freedom Frys..... drat that Political name calling stuff) Anyway..... Coffee scented candles....wow that will make me want to have cake or pie with it....! There was this dude behind me, and as I'm standing there waiting for my drink he says to me, "excuse me sir, did I hear you order a six shoot espresso." I nodded and smiled. His stunned reply, "wow." When I have the money, I'm more often than not a venti no whip extra hot mocha kinda guy. These days I've been french-pressing my own in my cube early in the morning. For about the last week or so I've picked up this odd habit of making a cup of cocoa keeping the bitter dregs of the coffee. Puzzling. Being the person that she is, she can't just get a drink, it has to be special & not just normal special; Really Special. She gets a "HEAVY BREVE" A breve with steamed heavy cream (none of that wimpy low fat half & half or *gasp* regular milk!) The funny thing is that they've put it on the menu at *both* her local Starbucks. yet I'm the one in the family who never sleeps? A room-mate bought an espresso machine at a yard sale.... but she couldn't get it to work.... She filled the water chamber all the way up, and it overflowed the cup.... I told her how to do it, but she just gave-up.... and gave it to me.... So when I brew my morning cup of coffee, I run it through the espresso machine..... Now where it starts to get scarry...... after reading the article, I decided to see what happens is I ground the coffee to powder..... then packed it into a coffee puck in the metal bowl.... added sugar, and "let-her-rip....." I've run powdered coffee through the thing before..... but if You "Pack-it" , it comes out even better..... Well now to go play with a Tempral-field flux-compassidor and some rubber bands......... So I'll just stick to something safe...... Like playing with other ways to make coffee....... In the Muzzleloading Forum there was a thread about making camp coffee.... someone posted about putting an egg (broken ?) in the pot with the water and coffee grounds......
