Mad Gracie

I'll admit, there are some shoes that really add that sexy flair. But honestly, I won't even wear them anymore unless I'm going out for a nice dinner with me captain. No sir! Now it's gym shoes or really comfy loafer shoes. Age and many-a-painful younger years has taught me well. Dressing up is nice to do, but if I don't have to.. It's all about comfort for me! ~MG~

Pirate for halloween?! Of course! I can't wait. And the few new friends i've met this semester at school can't wait to see me in my garb. It's fun dressing up for halloween and going to school (college) or work. Last year I was one of the very few who actually dressed up and had fun with it. I was a mad scientist/professor. Played out me charactor all day. Hair stickin' straight up, lab coat and evil laughter. Not at all (thank God) like the girls who all they did was toss on a cowboy hat and were rodeo ho's. How is that a costume? Thats how they dress every day! And here's something I don't get... It will be 60 degrees and they are half naked. Why? Don't they realize that huddling, hunched and shivering completely ruins the sexy look they were going for? Seems like a lack of common sense to me. But enough of my ranting. I'm done.... for now. ~MG~

I brought me captain to see one of these ships a few months ago. Luckly he adored it and quickly made it his own. We have had it up since we got it. Tis a fun ship. While I love michaels, they bring in their halloween stuff toward the end of July and then don't restock once it's sold! (Grumble grumble!) But for those of you who can't find them this year, try next July. ~Mad Gracie~

I've seen many mention to Hat Crafters. But has anyone actually ordered from them and if so, how is the quality? What is the material? How is the stitching? How is it holding up? Any details that you can offer, i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks, ~MG~

Umm... Yes. Just a few more. :angry: Some treasure of a site. There must be one out there. I've found some great irish/drinkin' song sites. But i'm looking for more of sea shantie/songs-sung-at-faire kind of songs. Any suggestions? ~MG~

I've just heard the news via e-mail. I'm so sad. No, I didn't know her personally, I've only talked with her before. But mostly, she brought us and so many others much joy with her song and wit. She will be very much missed. My prayers to those who were close to her. I shall light a candle and raise a toast in her honor. ~MG~

I've gotta tip me hat to that one. Cause ya know there'd be some dumb arses out there using it as an excuse. Kinda goes along with those people who are suing McDonalds because, It made them fat. Or the woman from years ago who sued some contraceptive company because she used the contraceptive jelly on her toast & she got pregnant. Oh yeah! My hubby and I do the same in our Jeeps. You ought to see the looks he gets when he blasts bagpipe music! The whole soundtrack is phenomenal! But I seem to play track 5 over & over & over again.
