  1. No problem. It's a cool store and I tell a lot of people about it. They have a lot of nifty pirate collectibles.
  2. Thanks for all the responses. Going by what all of you have said, I'm gonna most likely be doing a combo of homemade items as well as some stuff found in thrift stores. Maybe my mother in law can help me with the sewing stuff.
  3. "If you see the bilge rats...you're too close!" "Dead men tell no tales! Don't drink grog and drive." For those with dents in their cars... "The last person that broadsided me has me cutlass in em' "
  4. Well since you're gonna be at Cannon beach, you might want to consider going out to Depoe Bay which is just past Lincoln City. Might be a bit out of the way, but there is a store there called Pirate's Cove that specializes in piratey goods.
  5. Ok, I wanna put together a pirate costume with everyday readily available items. First of all, is it possible, and two what should I look for? I'm gonna be going places like Goodwill and stuff.
  6. Ahh...curses...I missed it again...happened to me with the first PotC movie too.
  7. Fuel Service Technician...in lame mans terms...I pump gas (gotta sound professional ) . I actually live in Oregon which is the only state with true gas pumpers left. Besides that I hope to have my own used/new bookstore one day. Just need to get the doubloons to do it.
  8. Ok, I've been wondering where a good place to find some sea shanty guitar tabs would be? Powertab ones would be great, but regular ones would work well too.
  9. Hmmm...I may have to check that out. I'm not to far from Portland at all.
  10. If you want a good humorous pirate book, then check "The Pirates, in an Adventure with the Scientists." It's by Gideon Defoe. Here is the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/140007750...1612114?ie=UTF8 I forgot to mention that the copy I linked is a double book and includes the sequel "The Pirates, in an Adventure with Ahab".
  11. Since I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, I've spotted a PotC ccg in stores recently. Haven't had the money to try it yet though. Has kinda comic book like art, but has the charaters from the movies in them. http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com/potc/en/
  12. Kinda reminds me of how I put high expectations on the Hallmark "Blackbeard" movie, which I thought sucked.
